We hired a pest control guy one year to spray for spiders can you say well you got a yellow jacket Hive up there I'll get that down for you. What day I came home and I noticed some bees dead on the ground yellow jackets he had found another hive for the wizard yellow jackets they were honey bees. You must have been blade of the sidewalk dead. Will we fired him. Because you just totally told me a freaking story I said no I don't want you killing any if you find any hives with dinner honey bees I said leave it alone we have special spray and you know it won't hurt that. So I don't want you spray any killing any honey bees. Give us the thought I was really stupid or something. A special poison spray that won't kill honey bees wow I wonder what that was. I know yellow jackets can be pretty mean and but if I had my choice if it meant killing a honey bee or leaving a yellow jackets nest alone I just leave the yellow jackets nest tomorrow. We are losing honey bees at a alarming rate is anybody out there has never done a little bit of reading to research about what that means for the Earth you should do some reading about it
@PennsylvaniaOutdoors-ki8tm28 күн бұрын
I agree with you, I grow lots of different flowers in my yard, just so bee's,hummingbirds,and butterflies can come and pollinate my vegetables, and I just like having them around as well, no reason to kill them at all. I know they can relocate bees as well, so that's always a good option too. Thanks for sharing your story.

I remember when I was a kid I lived up in the woods in Washington near yelm. Back then you can run wild up in those woods and you never had to worry about anything and I remember I would find a bumblebee and play with it I let it just go all over in my hand and they were always so gentle and amazing little creatures never did Sting me none of them ever tried to. The amazing creatures.

I've actually hung a lot of gutters with my friends business... I already knew what water can do sitting outside of the foundation, but it's fun to have worked at both sides. They compliment eachother. If it's not a situation for a gutter out there be sure to pitch the ground away from the foundation for 18" away from the foundation. Add soil, fill, stone, whatever you can if you need to eliminate any puddling when it rains. It helps preserve what you have.

its most likely caused by a tree growing on the property line, this wall has been like this for a while now, but i plan to tear out the old cement blocks, and pour a new footing, and rebuild the wall with all new blocks and mortar, i will be posting more as i get more done, i hope it turns out good, but i have been busy all day today working on it.

Wow, I really appreciate your compliment, Thank you so much, My thought to my channel is to show all parts of Pennsylvania, so in years from now when things change we can go back and see how it use to be, I really wish I had a camera in the 80's and even the 90's, and see how much has changed in the in the past 40 years, I miss the 80's and 90's a lot, but what I do now is for generations to come and hope it brings back good memories of Pennsylvania to them. I saw a couple of your videos so far and love what you do as well, you show how beautiful Pennsylvania truly is and how unique as well.

@@PennsylvaniaOutdoors-ki8tm that’s sounds great. I have a lot of these type of videos scattered all over my channel. Im in southeastern PA and my garden is nearly dead from those two weeks of terrible heat!
@PennsylvaniaOutdoors-ki8tmАй бұрын
yea, mine are starting to die too, my tomato leaves shriveled up to nothing, we had the same heat here and my leaves just kept drying out and turning brown, but the tomatoes formed and I'm still getting lots of red tomatoes, as you can see in the video. The trick I do is collect as much rainwater as I can when it does rain so when its hot for weeks with no rain, I can water them and try to keep them healthy as possible, if it happens next year i am going to try using shading cloth to try and prevent any harm. Thanks for your comment. I love talking about gardening.

Yes!!! They are blushing... Consider picking some and just keeping them in a brown paper bag... I've had success so far. I have many almost full red and I ate my first fully ripe one yesterday. Heavenly!!! It does limit the risk of outdoor issues with pests, sunburn, and rot.

This is a parasitoid wasp, it will find insects that will lay its eggs inside the bodies. And while the eggs hatch inside they will eat their way inside out. And even and turn the insect into a zombie like bug by infecting its brain.
