Anthony Littlebear (deceased April 2022) is the taller of the two people doing the rumba in the beginning of this performance. He told me how he felt very exposed in this piece and out of deep and abiding respect for the dance, he wanted his Rumba to be as authentic as possible. I will remember the Anthony who passionately dedicated himself to various arts, including Salsa dance, Flamenco and Blues guitar, and this Rumba duet. Rest in Peace.

Hola a todos, soy bailarín y aprecio mucho el estilo caleño. Sin embargo no deberíamos criticar swing latino, ellos únicamente tienen un estilo muy pintoresco, pero hay neoyorkinos, cubanos, puertoriqueños, dominicanos, panameños, venezolanos y mexicanos que lo hacen de maravilla, solo que ese estilo caleño de ir a contratiempo ha revolucionado un poco la salsa de salón. Considero que se debería aperturar una categoría caleña y que participen entre ellos, para poder dar paso a otros estilos que puedan evolucionar. Demos gracias al mulato por brindar un aporte a este ritmo tan sabroso como lo es la salsa. Apenas la escucho me pican los pies por bailarla. Saludos desde Caracas

Ese tema no tiene nada de Boogaloo, es el moisaico santero de Fruko, los temas son de Celina y Reutilio. El veraddero Boogaloo nacio para mitad de los 60s en Nueva York, fue un baile negro latinizado. Su baile era estilo modern, como se bailaba un tanto el rock and roll. Sus liricas fueron en ingles, luego le colocaron liricas en español. Jamás el Boogaloo se bailaba rápido y nunca se aceleraba. En algunas partes de América Latina lo aceleraban..y eso lo dañaba.
