Excellent show. I never realised Andy got a flat RF just before he put Frank in, in the ‘99 WF. Although Andy didn’t win, it was the best outcome.🙃

Great podcast…Tom and Ryan are doing great things…for them selves….but not for STOCK car racing. Sprint cars are none contact.F1 and F2 on shale is changing, it’s sideways very early into the corner so you can’t hit in the traditional way….great for Tom who doesn’t like being Hit!😊 but it now stock car RACING..

Have to disagree on that a very good friend of mine has his car run by Ryan and has helped him no end up with car set up and advice not to mention other customer cars that he’s built any knowledge that he has he will gladly help others

love to see interviews with john, I like the way he nearly always pauses before answering a question, he wont just blurt out the first thing to mind, its well thought out before it arrives in a voice. Wishing him another great season of stockcar racing. brill.

Excellent pod cast, thank you. I've been a fan of stockcars since 1969. I have never been a follower of drivers who win everthing. Having said that I have so much respect for Sir John Lund for what he has achieved and hope he keeps enjoying his racing and entertaining us fans.

Have to agree re the start of the season, it never really gets going until post Easter. Would’ve preferred to see the shootout finale at a different venue to Bradford as it was staged there this season. Keep the WF format as it is. Happy to see Aldershot on the fixture list being local to me in London. Hoping they ramp up this meeting, big prize money, incentives etc. Losing Wimbledon was a huge loss in the south, both to BriSCA & Spedeworth.
@peterandben111 ай бұрын
fantastic lads keep going just watching the captain win the final at bradford on a dodgy video . well done sir chaos
@andrewdoran457211 ай бұрын
As a fan ( and having spoken to other fans) I personally would like to see the world final where ONLY the top 30 drivers are pitched against other. I don't agree with Neil's comments on it being part of the drama.....the drama IS the world final, there is no drama in any race when it's down to a few drivers who could change the outcome. Keep the British to allcomers, but the world final should remain the best against the best. As for Tom Harris, yes he is the best at the moment...he has a good racing package but he can be beaten....he is the new stu smith and others have to catch up.....just look at his race craft, Tom has the ability to move through the field and will push anybody out of the way.

In my humble opinion, shows like AutoSport doesn't bring new fans to the sport, or enough for them to be profitable - They're great for 'awareness', but targetted social media to locations, hobbies and interests is the best form of advertising. Whether or not promotions and formulas want to put the money into actual digital marketing is a different matter. For example, a short, snappy video with a direct link to a decent mobile-friendly website selling tickets, is the way you bring in new people.
@stugill451311 ай бұрын
i think thats the big thing no1 or very few can afford 2 take on mr harris , also the nec the lads have just put on there there show people are leaving but theres never anybody handing out fixture lists there when peoples intrest is still high and a couple of times ive seen people looking to talk 2 drivers about costs etc and theres no1 there ,,,, ps bring back capt chaos
@rafalhodgson150811 ай бұрын
Good point on the Dutch and English fixture list, needs to be an agreement because we are the only 2 countries that run F1, so we should work together rather than against. Bit of a kick in the teeth for the dutch as they brought a huge number of fans and drivers down to many meetings in the uk.

Great post. Some good topics of discussion here. For me the game changer for this year has been the ability to watch racing live from home. Being based in Devon (my fault) its a large commitment to my family if I disappear for two days getting to the other side of the country. I can enjoy and stay connected for a fraction of the cost.
