Hi Lauren, I'm unsure if you would know the answer to this, my husband and I will be applying in 2025. Obviously we come as a package, one won't go with out the other, as standard. However, if we are lucky enough to both be accepted do you no if they allow couples to live together (we are legally married have a marriage certificate) We both really want this thanks Scott & Amy

I’m in a long term relationship, if he wanted to visit me would he be able to stay with me in the cast member accommodation for a short time or would we need to get a hotel? I know he couldn’t come and live out there with me but would a visit be allowed in the accommodation?

Great question!! Only other CMs living at Flamingo Crossings Village are allowed to stay in your apartment for a short amount of time. If you have a friend that lives at FCV and you want them to stay over at your FCV apartment for the night, that's fine! However, you're not allowed to have guests stay over unless they're FCV residents. You're allowed guests in the daytime, between 7am-1am I believe. You'd have to stay in a hotel :)

Only found out about the program last year sometime and was so gutted i didnt know about it when i was younger and thought i was too old to apply now and it would only be people in their early 20's but hearin you say there were people of all ages including 40+ has really made my day! Can make magic at any age! <3

18 isn't too young to apply!! That's the minimum requirement. I was 20 & 21 on my first program, as well as 25 & 26 on my second program. However, I felt much more confident in myself on my second program :)

Aww thank you so much!! I did leave both of my jobs before both programs in order to do the CRP. However, I know some people were able to get a sabbatical from work!

It was very different last year, there were no group interviews which I was gutted about!! It was just a 15 minute interview, it was still in Epping aswell ☺️ I didn’t make it past pre screen interviews so hopefully this time will be my time🤞🏻

I’m not sure - I’ve met people that have worked for Disney from the U.K. in the long run but haven’t asked their specific journey! You do have to have a type of visa

That’s what usually happens but it depends on your employer! I know a couple of people got a sabbatical from their job at home though

Did you find that many of your days off corresponded to your friends days off? Did any of you have to miss out on days out if you were working while others were not?

Yes, this does happen! When you arrive you’re lowest seniority so you don’t really have a say in your days off (they’re usually together though). When I first arrived I had Saturday/Sunday off, but as time went on and we did a schedule bid I ended up getting the days I wanted! In food & beverage a lot of people swapped shifts with others to help each other out too 🫶 But you do see your friends at work anyway, and if you have friends outside of work you will find time to see them too!

Yay!! That’s awesome! So for Walmart/Target there is Disney program buses that you can use. You can Uber/Lyft to Universal (it can be quite expensive, at least $30 each way). It’s always good to go with others to split the cost! Or if you hire a car. Little Target/Five Below/Walgreens are walking distance from Flamingo Crossings Village 🐭
