76 years old here, 6.6 PSA going in tomorrow for prostate MRI, we’ll see? My doctor told me that most elderly men will die with prostate cancer but not from it. Hang in there Alonzo, two of my friends had prostate cancer, one has 10 years since his surgery the other 8. Only the good die young and you were one BAD mofo out on that basketball court!

I'm glad Zo is speaking out about the importance of getting regular PSA tests. I'm a Veteran and discovered that I have prostate cancer because my PSA was elevated during a routine VA checkup; which lead to a MRI, then a biopsy and subsequently a PSMA PET Scan that revealed Stage 2 prostate cancer. Guys, make sure you consider all of the treatment options: prostatectomy, radiation, hormonal therapy, etc,. Choose the option that is best for you based on the side effects that come with ALL treatments. Best of luck gentlemen!

Early detection and intervention is the key, Zo. Went through the same path in January as well. I did the SBRT treatment instead of the surgery. I'm in the recovery stage as well and my last PSA reading was 0.01.🙏
