Let me help educate the young announcer on a few things, some errors he made. In the Frosh Soph 4x200 the team that actually won the 1st section and had the fastest time of both sections was Oak Park, not Lyons. Also you said after the 2nd section of the varsity 4x200, that York won the event, not they didn't, again it was Oak Park, that won the event from the 1st section and it wasn't even close, Oak Park won by almost 3 seconds. I don't know if you had the total points of the meet after the 200m, but I heard you check the website and it should have reflected that total, Oak Park went 1-2 for varsity, 18 points, making Oak Parks lead over York from 12, to 30, because York didn't score. You said going into the final event the 4x4, with York down 12 points, the team title was still on the line. Even if the 200m points weren't recorded at the point you said this, York in winning the 4x4, would've fallen short by 2 points, 10 points is the highest total you get for 1st place.
