Good luck with your new store. If I lived in the area, I definitely would shop there as much possible.

Great to see your shop up and running. Shame about not doing build videos any more the Starfury you did for me would have been a great one. If you had the shop going then I would have been happy for you to put in in your display for a day or three. So wish you still did commissions it would be nice to have a Babylon 5 Thunderbolt to go with it.
@echelonhobbiescanadaАй бұрын
Hey, nice to hear from you. I will still be doing build videos and technique videos, and many more things going forward. Unfortunately, time spent on the store makes it impossible to do commissions as well.

Absolutely fantastic finish! I just picked up this exact model for my son and I to work on together. We are gonna have to try hard to get a great paint job like yours.

Does anybody have any recommendations for a model? I just got an academy f-18 model and i enjoyed building it. But i want a plastic model that isn’t too hard to build.
@echelonhobbiescanada3 ай бұрын
Depends what you are looking to build. Are you open to other types of models, or do you want another aircraft?

@@echelonhobbiescanada i want another jet
@echelonhobbiescanada3 ай бұрын
Okay, well if you want a simpler build then I would look for models with low parts count. Airfix sells starter sets that are easier to build, or go with an older style jet that doesn't have as many bells and whistles as the more modern jets. Smaller scales like 1/72 or 1/144 vs 1/48 scale will have less detail and lower parts count as well. @@Vanillaoreodog

Sorry, I mistakenly deleted your response...I would recommend the Zvezda, but it was a difficult kit with lots of small parts.

Then i found your channel looking for what to do with the Zvezda SU 33 i bought too cause it's my favorite. Thanks for the lesson. A french beginner in 1:72. Of course je suis abonné ;)

Great job...realistic & a true working Corsair navy fighter! I built the Tamiya 1/32 scale F4U Corsair. Not a cheap model by any means & quite complicated with it's million parts that allows for different configurations! Unlike you, I gave my Corsair a pristine paint job just off the assembly line. She hasn't been battle hardened as yet...lol!

Hi, awesome video, dumb question, after using the wash, you wiped off excess with thinners I think with a small brush, won’t that effect/smear the paint on the body of the plane where your going over with the thinners?
@echelonhobbiescanada7 ай бұрын
No for two reasons. First, enamel thinners don't affect acrylic paints, and I also applied an acrylic varnish before the wash to make sure the basecoat is protected. The only other risk is scrubbing too hard to try and remove the wash, which could scratch off the paint still. It's also important to let your basecoats and varnish completely dry before the wash stage. Hope that helps!

Which pruduct use to remove the extra paneliner?

It would be enamel thinner or white spirit
