If anyone can help me date these, that would be greatly appreciated. I own some vintage decks but I am not experienced in dating vintage decks and have realized after my excitement that copyrights pretty much mean nothing. This has been quite a learning experience. It has definitely had its ups and downs.

Those are some wonderful decks. What a treasure! I have to say that the years printed on the cards are not an indication of the printing year but of the copywrite year. If you want to know the year of printing it is sometimes difficult to find out. Some youtubers made comparison videos for instance for the different printings from the Morgan Greer and the RWS. I think you found a wonderful collection (or it did find you) if I were you I would stalk the gentleman from the garage sale…

@ConnieIsMijnNaam lol I definitely gave him my number! Most I have dates on but the yellow box was hard to date. Figured it out though. Ya the copyright dates are not a good way to tell. I am not experienced in dating vintage decks so it was definitely a learning opportunity. : )

@@activistwitch the yellow box RW that she used and the Morgan Greer have crazy energy to them. I didn't reset them or cleanse them with smoke.

The Arthurian Tarot is by Caitlin Matthews and her husband is one of the authors of Wildwood. The deck is based on legends surrounding King Arthur and the quest for the Grail. Cool fact Caitlin and John Matthews were content experts for the movie Excalibur.😊

@sabrinanorman8374 I am selling the RW but 1971 is its copyright date. I'm thinking it's printed in early 90's and the end of printing in Switzerland. It's a beautiful deck either way. Let me know if you are still interested. : )

Some lovely vintage decks there and love the synchronicity of life and that these found their way to be a part of your collection. I am sure the lady's son, and no doubt her spirit, are happy to hear your words that you will love, cherish and take good care of them. My son knows I love everyone one of my many many decks. At present, he is not an avid tarot nut like me, but who knows what the future may bring. Whatever happens, he is aware that I store all collectable decks in their own space, and to check the current value of any deck if he chooses to sell them.

I'm so happy these decks found you, they deserve to be loved and appreciated. It made me think that I need to make a will detailing who my decks have to go to, I had a horrible image of them being put in the bin when I'm no longer around😄

@JonSkyeTarot I thought of the same stuff. I decided not to have kids, but luckily, I have 2 nieces who have followed in my footsteps. But what if they decide to no longer be into Tarot? I hope my decks would find their way to another reader if my nieces didn't want them. I plan on discussing this with them as well as including it in my will. The son asked me if I read and I said "yes, everyday". He got teary-eyed when I told him they were in good hands. It had been weighing on him. 💕

Thanks for another great video 😊 That’s strange that you got a burn on one cheek. I got a burn on my eye this week when some boiling oil spat out of a frying pan and hit my eye. It stopped my whole week- I’ve had to take time off work and take medications to heal it (it seems nearly healed). They are both harsh physical manifestations of last decan’s cards. It’s nice to now see Jupiter, Wheel of Fortune and 6 of wands together- such a positive combination. I hope we all have a very positive decan 😀

@melissaclark4988 that is so crazy!!! Hopefully, your eye heals quickly. Ya, I don't know...I got a really bad sunburn on 1 cheek. It's still very sensitive to the sun but looks much better. It is strange that we both got burned and only one part 🤔. Mine was my right cheek just under my eye.

The Zammer Twins is a really cool deck, I enjoy mine a lot. I love Patrick's work! In my opinion, the Uusi decks are on a whole new level. They read sooooo well for me and have quickly become staples in my collection. It's so hard to wait, I feel ya.

There is so much Olympic symbolism in this decan’s cards - the torch, the wreath, the competitors, strength, limitations, inspiration, passion, demonstration, skills and talents on show, performance, strategy, intense emotions. I wonder if it is intentional or coincidence that the games have started during this decan?
