Thanks for the info, verfy informative! A quick question/verification if you don't mind. If I'm making a bootable flash drive to install an OS (Example: Windows XP, or 7, or 11) should the 'File system' be FAT32, NTFS or does it not matter? Thanks in advance!

it doesnt matter if ur system freezes up just downgrade ur op system i had it happen with a friend that put 11 on his pc and it kept freezing

Great detail conveyed in such user friendly language. As a beginner, could you explain the when and why you would complete the ISO image choice and what is the Enable EFI option on the Hardware interface page and why would you either check it or leave it unchecked. Thank you.

Beautiful video and i love your voice. I am facing an issue with my conputer; it cannot detect my bootable usbs . I have 2 usbs one burned as mbr the other as gpt, usb boot is enabled in bios but there is no option for usb priority. I would appreciate it immensly if you offered advice😊

Hi @Schultz-wc6xy Do you currently have an internet connection to the Kali Devcie? If you do can you ping googles DNS server 8.8.8.8?

Does sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade perform and upgrade to the latest distro version?

No, for that you would have to use the commands below: 1. sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade 2. sudo reboot 3. sudo apt install update-manager-core 4. sudo do-release-upgrade (If you see "No new release found" you might need to use "sudo do-release-upgrade -d") 5. sudo reboot And you can confirm your distro has updated with lsb_release -a

@brentonhancock sensational, thanks for the quick reply. Linuxmint had a new release recently, and after an update yesterday that appeared huge, I now have no gui
