Thank you, I do prefer sharing longer videos but I’m finding it hard with it being summer holidays and the boys needing me more or them wandering in front of the camera so by the time I’ve edited 5 hours of cleaning I’m left with 10 minutes 😅 they return to school in two and bit weeks and I will have lots of content dealing with the messes they’ve been building up. X

Love your videos and this motivation was much needed as I have guests and students coming this week to my house after I’ve been on vacation for almost 2 weeks. Got some dusting and vacuuming and cleaning of surfaces to do this morning. ❤❤❤ doing it along with you in my living room and kitchen and the bathroom. I’m a music teacher and own my own studio teaching singing and piano lessons hence I need to clean my house more often so that it’s ready for work as it’s my home office as well as my home.

You are so welcome! How amazing to teach music, I wanted to be a music teacher when I grew up 😂 but I couldn’t ever retain sheet music, for some reason I couldn’t process it. I played the trombone for a year but gave it up because I’m like a t-Rex 🦖 my arms are way too short. Needless to say when I grew up i trained as a teaching assistant for 14-16 year olds who had difficulties staying in mainstream schools…loved my job. Before kids I was back up in a few bands and self taught on the guitar, music was always my therapy but now I have kids wine 🍷 is my therapy (totally joking…kind of!) I hope you managed to get your cleaning done? always stressful when you need to keep up appearances ❤️

Took me over 15 years to get good at it honestly! ❤️ It for sure is like learning a new language. I love that you play music for fun and your own enjoyment and stress relief. Now as a music teacher I do my best to play piano and sing for my own therapy when I can. It’s very good for the soul. I love to sing and love teaching too. I live that you helped students who needed the extra assistance. That is all beautiful! I didn’t know your arms needed to be longer trombone. That’s too funny about the t-Rex arms problem!🥰😂 sending lots of good vibes your way! I did get quite a bit of the cleaning done yesterday! And had some friends over. So I was very happy. 😂🦖 you need a good arm span but I’m sure there’s an extender you can use. I think i remember I could only go as far as a D note. I had a little snoop on your channel and love your music content! Will definitely come back later and have a proper watch (kids to feed/keep alive until bedtime) I’m so glad you got stuff done and had a lovely time hanging with your friends. Blair is 6' 4" now & 24 years old... I still love his hugs. One difference is I'm the 'little' one at 5' 5". He towers over me❤ It was a busy work week. Been enjoying the weekend. I'm caught up on laundry, dusting & bedding. Hubby helped me hang new black out curtains in our room. The West facing Florida afternoon sun melts us. Going to mop later & call it done. We have just over two and a half weeks left, I’m not ready for the school madness. It’s funny how you blink and one day your looking up to see your sons face! I’m 5” and my 14 year old is not far off 6” 😬 I don’t know how you do anything in the Florida heat?! If it gets to 25oc/77f I’m literally dying and turn into a sloth…. thankfully it’s a lot cooler here today so getting my house picked up is easier. Hope you got your jobs done, I bet you’ll be glad for the blackouts, hopefully it helps with scorching sun ❤️

@@HBSVMom I remember when I was 15 I visited Florida in your summer time 🥵I cried most days because of the humidity (it isn’t the same in the Uk! We are hot but dry hot) Thankfully we spent most of the time in the water parks. We’ve invested in an air con unit this summer which has been a life saver. 2.30am! Wow! Hi Sarah another fab video. Just wanted to ask as I noticed in another clean how clear your tv screens are when cleaned, what is the spray you used? I’m using plain water and microfibre cloth and I’m not really impressed with the result. When it comes to cleaning back/behind the toilets i use antibacterial wipes to get the splashes and dust then clean with Dettol spray. I’m currently waiting for everyone to rise and get the breakfast rush out the way so I can start with the more noisy part of cleaning (hoovering) I’ve been kindly asked to wait to do that when all are up because Saturday/Sunday is lie in day 😊

Hey lovely, i think I just used bicarbonate spray as it was on hand but I really like to use glass cleaner (method) on my tvs as long as I’m buffing it out with a microfibre cloth it comes up really nice. I’m fortunate to have TVs that don’t require ‘special treatment’ as I know some you can’t use any products on. I never thought to use wipes and dettol, definitely putting these on my shopping list! 😂 I wish my kids would request silence on the weekends! They can’t get up on time for school but will wake up early in the holidays/weekends!

Hi Sarah, yours and my daily routines are very similar, I have 5 children 4 still at home and 3 of them have complex needs/special needs ages 21 17 16 14 and 2 step children ages 18 and 17 who visit often so you can imagine the chaos when we’re altogether at one time. I’m currently marathon watching your videos from earliest to latest. Have picked up and started to change my cleaning routine slightly since watching you and can feel and see the difference all round. Look forward to more content, I’ll definitely be watching 👍❤️

Having any teenage kid is stressful, let alone 3 boys. Don’t stress the small the small stuff is what I’m trying to say, has it wont be important in 5 years time, has before u know it there all grown up and moved out and got there own houses and u look back and wonder where has that time gone?. Honestly a laugh a day makes a happy family content. I do agree thou about them taken on small jobs. Learning life skills. When my own kids got past 14 they cleaned their own rooms once a week including bedding and had daily pick ups. Also loaded and unloaded the dishwasher and wiped the sides. and swept the floor. Then when they got 15 they was taught how to iron and use the washing machine in preparation for 6th form, has there was no way i was ironing 50 million different items of clothes a day lol. How do u find the cordless shark?, i have the plug in version, and i used my daughters has she has a cordless and i got to say i find my plug in way more powerful. Plus the other battery isn’t going on charger every 10 mins lol. Loving the videos. Just keep doing what you’re doing raising kids is hard. It feels like you’re doing the same jobs over and over till they leave school lol. Just think it wont always be that way then u will miss it .

I have both sharks , the cordless had two batteries thankfully, I do have to change halfway if I’m doing the whole house. The cordless has good suction but not as powerful as my plug in…this bad boy I bring out when I need a deeper clean.

Hi Sarah 🤗 this made me laugh! I love how kids brains work! One of my boys would have argued that I wasn’t specific enough about how he was to clean his room so under the bed was fair game!!! I recommend shutting the door and pretending the room is immaculate 😂 seriously though, I really have to be feeling like Hercules when cleaning under the beds, It’s one of the jobs I put off unless I can see it’s a mess or my hoover has sucked up something more then Lego! I will flip the mattress on its side and scoop everything out. Good luck! 😉 xxx
