Ask your hardware friends that make peripherals (keyboards, mice, things that require firmware upload tools).. to make simple configuration programs for Linux or contribute basic configuration information to a standardized platform program.

@@onyx2734 Still waiting delivery from China. On official openwrt website they have drivers for fm350gl modem but BPI wifi6 mini router is not in the list of supported devices. Will see once i receive that thing.

@@onyx2734Finally received and tested this device with fm350gl modem and sadly as expected there is no drivers for fm350gl modem. This device comes with custom OpenWRT out the box which is good considering that there is no system images available for this device . UART works on usb-c so you can use Putty which is handy. What is missing is support by OpenWRT. Even official BananaPI website has no updates or system images to download only link to github where you can find Chinese pdf about uploading bin file and outdated source code for compiling custom images under linux environment.

Die Sendeleistung ist landesabhängig auf das zulässige Maximum beschränkt. Allerdings sollte man das Land vor der Aktivierung einstellen, sonst gibt es möglicherweise Schwierigkeiten mit staatlkchen Behörden. Auch sollte man bei solch einem OS-Projekt prüfen, ob die vom Router vorgegebene max. Sendeleistung (aktuell) zulässig ist. Meine Einstellungen waren nach dem Einschalten meist verschwunden. Ich hatte versucht, den eingebauten DNS-Server abzuschalten und den Router ins Netz meines neuen DSL-Routers (FritzBox) zu holen, seitdem komme ich nicht mehr auf das Web-interface und bekomme keinen HTTP-Zugang mehr zustande. Anscheindend hatte hier das Speichern der Einstellungen das Abschalten überlebt. Dummerweise scheint nun ein Werks-Reset nun nur noch auf die ursprünglich falschen Netzeinstellungen zurück zu setzen. Das Gerät funktioniert, lässt sich nun aber nicht mehr bedienen. Vielleicht sollte man OpenWRT erst einmal auf Emulator oder Mini-PC (Raspberry Pi) üben. Da steckt man eine neue SD-Karte ein und startet neu. Die Platine incl. Euro-Netzteil und Gehäuse im Racing-Design mit vier Antennen (je zwei Kanäle pro WiFi-Frequenzbereich) und vier Netzwerk-Ports (1 WAN, 3 LAN) kostete 45,- € plus Versand. Für das Geld oder deutlich mehr hätte ich woanders die Platine auch ohne Netzteil oder Antennen bekommen. Das Angebot ist bei AliExpress leider nicht mehr im Netz. Leider gibt es hier keinen USB- oder SD-Anschluss, von dem man einfach einen definierten Zustand laden kann. Dann schaue ich mal, ob sich das Ding irgendwie debricken lässt...🤔

wifi 7 module BPI-R4-NIC-iPA-BE19 uses 14 antennas the case has only 14 holes to match wifi 7 module only there is no holes for 5G module antennas the case need to be modified each side will have 4 holes including back and front to offer at least 2 holes for 5G module and it need more vent holes on top and bottom to offer more air flow to wifi 7 module and nvme ssd how much dBi of antennas are you offering with the kit?!

This router is garbage. The firmware does not work well with the WiFi soc and they abandoned development. Don't waste your money on this.
