This evening I met Her on 21.263 MHz - atmospheric conditions was not close to good and signal & readability was enough to say poor 4:5 By the way I own the wery same radio transceiver - IC7300 is best for te price! 7:3! YL3ANG

True Story...I had a young person in the shack interested in Ham Radio. I go to 10 meters and unwittingly answer Todd's call and he goes on a tirade about me only giving my suffix to answer him. Tells me "That's improper procedure". Embarrassed, I shut the rig off and told the newbie in my shack "You may want to stick to CB, this is what you will have to deal with on Ham Radio!

That's even more hilarious because his current thing to do is YELL at anybody who says his callsign. You're literally supposed to say the other stations callsign followed by your own - I tried this, and he cursed at me. He operates in a way that is completely different than the actual standards, and somehow expects everyone to follow HIS rules. With that being said, it's very clear the guy isn't playing with a full deck. Not only did he curse at me for using his callsign, but he sent me a 2 page hand-written letter that arrived in my mailbox. It actually made me feel bad for him. I feel sorry for him, i hope he's actually OK

He cursed at me also and yelled for saying his call sign. He would never say mine back as an acknowledgement and continue to scream at me for contacting him.

I did eventually get him to agree that historically ham radio contact formats would be "his call/my call" or "This is W0123 calling his call" Bottom line is this guy has said some hateful and dangerous stuff on the air. He parks on the 10M dx calling freq and then he is hateful to at least 50% of the DX stations calling him. It sucks to get on 10M and only hear him. When conditions are weak I hear him because we live in the same region.
