The connections will rust and you will need to spray with lube of some kind to get them apart. Use anti seize to make easy to come apart.

Bees are amazing! We've mainly seen the random solitary native bee, and same for wasps. Seems like a lot less pollinators around this season :(

put out some dries apples. They will come. I think it may be too hot for them as well and the flowers don't do well in the heat to feed them

Gorgeous. Curious... what zone are you in, what are your temps like right now, full sun? And are they in pots or ground. I have the same roses and they are doing terribly this year
@queenggarden2 жыл бұрын
Hi it is the UK. This year has been very hot and dry and the second flush is struggling. Normally UK is very wet and that brings the black spots, rust and mildew. But it is dry so not much of that thankfully but the dryness is making them struggle to bloom properly.

@@queenggarden gladiolas, cosmos, sunflowers and zinnias are in smaller containers. Vegetables such as yacon (Smallanthus sonchifolius) are in big containers of maximum 90 liters size. Yacon is a relative of Dahlias and gives me 10 kg of tubers per plant. Some Tomatoes and yacon are also grown in soil. Here in Northern Germany I just started with 30 dahlias this year. A big company named LUBERA even sells dahlias with edible tubers. Greetings and happy gardening.
