I’ve also noticed that skrillex resamples a lot of his growls in his old music meaning he probably pitched growls up and down once sampled. Try resampling it and turning it down by 2 decibels.

Yeah I've seen it. Thing is skrillex only used FM8 for his one growl. Every other growl bass was made with massive

Some people prefer FL because it's "easier." In my opinion, Ableton is easier because you don't have to go through multiple windows for instruments/FX when you can create a track and manage everything in there.
