I had exactly same issue with the same model therefore KZbin push your video to me😂. I immediately subscribed but just let you know that there is another board in the other side. The one you showed looks fine just like mine. But the other board I found some decayed spots. I used teeth brush to clean them out and it worked again. The local garage door opener vendor gave me a quote of 1500+ usd. I’m hoping this fixed it.

Thank you for the comment, I replaced the board and it still failed. Clicking sound means something with the board. It could be anything on it from soldering connection. Hope you had better luck on the other board. I ended up getting a newer Genie model that is belt drive and it works great. I made a video on that one. It's so quiet I don't hear it anymore from the bedroom upstairs. I payed $550 for the unit and install in 2021.

Not as useful as if you would have shown all of the steps including removal and replacement of the spring a washer.

Ours developed a loud "Squeal" @ the center guide track. Track lube did not resolve the issue. Will try to spread the C-frame open a bit for the block to travel with less resistance.

You said use oven cleaner on inside? Don't think so. I see you have foil covering your baking pan which I think is a no no?

Thanks Debbie for the comment. Yeah I said it in the video but I made a note in the comment section to not use OVEN OFF. How come no tin foil on the bake pan?

Thanks for the comment. Its not a drive. It comes with a battery pack that uses 8AA inside to power the tracks and 2 AAA for each controller.

these little sets are pretty decent for the price. I grabbed a USB powers set for just £13 or 2 sets for £20 so I got 2. they sell under the brand Turbo tracks here in the UK. however the powerbase still has the top turbo branding. I am going to designed and 3 print an adapter kit, so this can be combined with other brands of track.

Fast an simple but that's because you've used it a few time. I like that you love that it does the job. I picked one up today. $120, brand new in box never opened. Stunk with that factory new smell. I let it heat up a few times them wiped the inside with some soapy water then a water wipe. I'll heat it up again tomorrow before use.

Hi, have you any advice on how to get the game running on Windows 11? I have my old copy of the game and have tried running the compatibility troubleshooter. I saw something about installing directX 9C on a thread the other week, but have not been able to find it again.

Hi Leigh, I recently got a new HP laptop in 2022 and all I did was hooked up an external drive to it and I put in the CD to load it up and it worked surprisingly in Win11. Was extremely fast and excellent graphics compared to my old machines. As for your question, I took a look on the PC game box and it does say minimum system requirements DirectX version 9.0c needed on your machine. Hope that helps.

Also make sure you have a graphics card with at least 2MB of memory, the more the better.

Just purchased this item. What is the "Toast" and "Broil" on the oven temp dial? Do I need to set the dial to "Toast" when toasting? A bit confusing.

Hi Nancie, Thank you for your question. The temp Broil is for Broiling. For toasting I just turn the 3rd knob to toasting and select Light, Med or Dark on the fourth knob. I don't do the toasting on the temp knob. The temp knob for toasting gives you the ability to adjust. I don't really use it. I just set it to the lowest and its fine. It really depends on how dark you want you toast to be. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the question. It failed because I replaced the circuit board and the opener still did not work. Had to replace the unit with a new Genie.
