How do you compare them with the HI-60x? Which one would you recommend for music production at home (not studio) and also DJ’ing but for that I might the the Hi-50x or some HD25s just so you have an idea I already some some open back sennheiser HD58X but on these two Austrian audio which one would you recommend?

Sounds awesome!!! The weird thing is that people would probably like the sound of this Mic 🎤 over the sound of the Sony c800g…why? Well this mic adds a bit of high end ✨….the Sony c800g is perhaps the flattest sounding mic of all time known to replicate the artists voice to perfection without adding any kind of shine or low end to the vocal. I feel like the Sony c80 in combination with a high quality pre amp would give you a more replicated sound of a Sony c800g…as a matter of fact, that’s what my current set up is and you will see from a frequency response chart that they are in fact very similar to each other. Still the WA 8000 sounds like a great mic. I have heard they are known to blow out in a couple months though.

For 3 days now the happy owner of the miniK-87 - this is a top/top microphone. I have only tried on vocals but it sounds "big times". Normally I use a AKG Solidtube for vox and it is super as well. Two super sounding microphones each with its own magic to choose from. I´m rolling :)

Thanks for the info. I’m still trying to figure out my workflow for this interface. I am curious, how do you manage your set up with only 2 analog outs? Don’t your monitors take those two spots? How could I, mix with outboard gear, if the out I would use to route audio to a compressor is being used by my monitors? My I’m not fully understanding the roll control 2 plays in the routing. Any thoughts are appreciated

I just mixed vocals done with this mic and with the warm eq...the first question I asked was what was the mic y'all used, the vocals are incredible! mic WITH the warm mic pre is superb!
