I’m a daily coffee person but every winter, I HAVE to have hot coco so I’m with Sam on that one lol it reminds me of going to my grandparents house when I was younger. Also, very excited for you to read skyshade. I waited to read nightbane until it came out and read them both back to back. I enjoyed them for sure.

Yes! I had KU for a long time and I definitely read more when I had it. I also liked it bc I was able to read more varied romance type books That I can’t get on Libby. I try not to buy so I exclusively use my library apps but I need to get KU again because it was totally worth it

I’ve heard great things about an ember in ashes. I started it and for some reason didn’t pick it back up but it’s on my list. I think it just wasn’t the right time for me, but I definitely am going to revisit it this fall.

Scythe and red rising are two YA that I have on my TBR and I need to finally read them! My tbr usually consists of whatever I’m able to get on Libby at the time. My bookclub is reading first lie wins and Im just trying to get some smaller books read to catch up on my reading goal 😅

I love a good series but sometimes they are so daunting so I love a good standalone/duology but I tend to read more series that then hop around with what I read. Also, do you have to reread summaries before these videos? Bc I swear I can never remember anything. Once I finish a book, I forget every detail and how it ends lol

I started the part of your World Series with book 2 accidentally and loved it. I also enjoyed just for the summer but I highly recommend book #2! One of the main character’s experiences anxiety and it’s portrayed really well. Idk about #1 and I don’t have plans to read it as of now.

@@ninajanine YES. One dark window was a little slow but totally worth pushing through. Girl serpent thorn was such an easy YA read so totally good for a pallet cleanse between big series. And powerless you have to go into knowing it’s just like hunger games 😂😂.

@@karaharriaga-dale842 i think we set our reading goal on Goodreads to 35 or something like that. I get more focused on the monthly reading goals (because of the channel) but it definitely stresses us out. There are too many books I want to read and NOT ENOUGH TIME.

@@karaharriaga-dale842 even though I loved it i wouldn’t put it as number one priority. There is literally no plot 😂. If you care about their romance (and literally just that) then I would say go for it.

I've just placed a hold on libby for that Stuart Turton book, based on your recommendation. Mysters/Thrillers I've recently really enjoyed are None of This is True by Lisa Jewell, and Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister.

I usually only listen to thrillers on audiobook. I sprinkle them in here and there to break up my usual reads. The only Frida McFadden book I’ve read is Never lie and I liked it. It felt predictable at first which I guess is intentional but the last quarter of the book had me turning the pages with all the twists.

I listened to shatter me on audiobook and I really liked all the scratched out words and lines. It’s played really well. They made pen scratching sounds after they would say the line. I can see how reading it on paper would get super annoying. I wound up reading like 3 of the books and then just dropped off on the series.

Magnolia parks is one of those series that everyone raves about and I’ve always been so indifferent so hearing y’all rate it lower makes me feel justified in not reading it. Not saying I’ll never read it, but definitely not on the top of my desired reading list

You’re saying my name correctly. Most people pronounce it “car-uh” 😅I am a die hard twilight fan. I went to all the movie releases and waited for New moon release and Eclipse when those books released. 😆 I’ve read midnight Sun and I enjoyed it but I never read the little one about bri tanner or the life/death where it switches genders. BUT if you’ve never read it, I highly recommend reading the Host by the same author. It’s alien esque sci fi with romance and there’s a movie too. She never made a second book and it kills me.
