Mcdonald broke the band. He doesn't write any songs that have guitars in it...that left Skunk and others with nothing to do onstage.

Interesting to learn a little more about Brian. Love how he has been a consistent part of Paul's music life.

Thank you, Jeff!! You’re one of the tastiest guitar players I’ve ever listened to. Love your work! When everybody else was listening to Quiet Riot and The Outfield, I was listening to stuff like the Doobie Brothers and lot of Steely Dan.

Hey! Stewart is going round and round like a vinyl record. What does the audience think of Phil Collins? Many wouldn’t necessarily know that he’s a proficient drummer. I’ve seen Bill Cobham live. His drumming was so complex that he seemed to me to lose his audience.

He’s getting his steps in. All good. Don’t watch, just listen. He’s long legged so he would need to cover a lot of ground in a day! Good on him for multitasking.

I fell in Love with the Doobie Bros when Taking it to the Streets album came out. I remember hearing it on the radio in 1976 and I bought the album from the record shop called Peaches! I’ve been a big fan of Michael McDonald ever since!💯🥳💝

I have a maths test tomorrow 😂 charmed by the interview. Grown up listening to NS. Such great writing. I especially liked the part regards vinyl cataloging and the internet not being around in the future potentially… I tend to agree…

FASCINATED to discover this information! Found the ebook at the library. I am Joanna's age and remember this era well, but it was my (sadly now deceased) son who introduced me to Tsoi and wow! that music is eternal, ethereal!! (I still hum CALM NIGHT to Alex even though he isn't here.) We were both learning Russian as a hobby and he found and introduced me to Tsoi from YT. Joanna, you have lived a remarkable life! IDK whether you'll see this, as the interview is a year old, but WOW! and thanks for your bravery. Did you ever make a movie about this? TY.

Wow! She's an artist bursting with creativity. Would love to see Ms. Pidgeon do a cover of L.A. Woman. Might be a good companion to the other LA inspired songs. She could pull it off.

100% agreed. New, high-quality represses in good shape of old (or new analog, which are getting mighty few and far between) recordings sound AMAZING. Digital recordings don't sound very good on vinyl.

Those recordings are so good he replays them on when he’s supposed to be performing live. Don Henley is the worst human being in music. He’s arrogant and he’s a fraud.
