Official mode by Epic that launched today, only a single map at the moment though. They're also launching another LEGO related mode tomorrow, they've been busy 👀

Not that it should be this way but re engine games are typically rough upon launch but within months following they become more optimized. Re8 used to stutter for me heavily on launch especially in the segments with the dimitrescu daughters transforming into wasps but later in the year I was getting no frame drops at all on the same hardware.

No ray tracing options. This game runs poorly. Lowering the settings makes the game look terrible and still run poorly. I don’t know what tech they’re packing in but it’s wholly unnecessary. It doesn’t make the game look better than world. I have a 3080 and it feels like I’m using a 1070.

I'm still too early in to say, but technically it's brilliant, haven't played a game this smooth in forever. I picked up the LG 32" OLED 4k240hz monitor, loving it.

@@reznoire I tried every setting and the game just would not run smooth. The frame time was crazy whenever I set a frame cap/vsync. The only thing that fixed it for me was Frame gen.

Because i read a lot of comments both here and on Reddit, i'm going to write a little bit about that song and the singer. "Marilou" is a stage name for Marine Jacob, a French teacher that lived in Japan for almost a decade back in 2010. She used to do a broadcast about French culture with the NHK at the time and was casted for the song pretty randomly as she used to sing for a Metal band in Tokyo. She only recorded that song without writting the lyrics, despite them being kind of meaningless in French. I know this because she is my sister and did talk her into doing the song back when she had that opportunity. We did pass that song at her wedding back in 2014 :)

@@lore9903 Avec plaisir, après l'histoire ne se termine pas si bien que ça, puisque le studio l'a un peu arnaqué sur son contrat. On lui avait proposé un contrat avec une somme à la clé si la chanson était sur le CD OST d'origine de l'anime. Or, ils l'ont mis sur une version spéciale et pas sur l'originale (ou quelque chose du genre) et donc elle n'a rien touché pour sa prestation. D'où le fait que son nom complet n'est pas présent sur la chanson mais uniquement un pseudonyme.

Any specific settings? I have 4090 as well but im around 100 fps constantly no matter what. GPU and CPU usage is very low.

Rez, there is a sound fix. Google shadps4 bloodborne sound fix. Its audio files you drop into your game folder.

Not patch of any kind (yet), but you can disable vsync (click the bottom left corner of the screen), it will unlock the framerate.

@reznoire cool! Have you ever used lossless scaling on steam? Prior to seeing your video i had capped my fps at 30 then used lossless scalings frame gen to 120 fps.

Are you constantly at 120 fps or does it drop? I have 4090 too and it can't get up to 120 fps. It rather stays around 100 even with vsync off and my monitor hz is 120.
