you just didn't know how to put it on. They've been using LOCA glue screens since the fingerprint readers were embedded in the screens and I just did one yesterday and buttons work fine.

Ya. That's just from someone not preparing your phone properly before application. You are supposed to cover those buttons with included sticker tape. Also included are absorbant little sponges that are meant to be placed on both sides, top and bottom. As well you are supposed to cover ear piece, bottom speaker and charging port. Basically you cover any where the glue could go that you wouldn't want it to. In short, someone screwed up your expensive phone.

Im person that never hate anything but I really hate glass screen protectors , glass is worst thing you can put there. Every I did in past was broken after max 1 month of use, I was tired to do that 10 times in 1 year. Last 3 years I use only hydro gel or good quality like spigen films, no problems from that moment.

Use esr tempered glass it is like applying normal glass without uv glue it has glue already applied at the back.

I was waiting for s24U flat screen just so i can use the conventional tempered glass and move out of the UV GLUE tempered mess. first off it was invented for those curved screens. it never use to work with thse either. max it will last 3-6 m before dust or case will start lifting the corners and you essentially will peel it and throw it into the bin. this includes even the whitedome ones. i stopped using them since s22ultra. this time for s24u i went with Spigen Glass tr Ezfit. extremely easy to apply and it has conventional self adhesive and no mess . looks ok for the money. you lose the gorilla armor anti reflective properties once you put them on. but for my use case this is must, as i always use my phones case less. fingerprint do accumulate on spigen but it just goe with a single wipe with even your tshirt etc. its serving the purpose. ofcourse even with these, dust do tend to gather in the corners. time will tell. spigen in thier marketing specifically states it covers micro gaps of s24u and so dust wont settle in the nook and crannies. lets see. So far so good.

its not the screen in which the glue went inside as it is a complete waterproof smartphone if its water resistance phone there is no chance of thick glue of getting in at all, its your power button and volume button in which the glue went inside and dried up due to the UV light, you can probably get that tactile feedback if you remove the buttons and clear the dried glue, or take it to good mobile repair shop whom you TRUST, you might as well wanna check the speaker grill especially the one which is above the screen, there is chance that it is also affected.

I myself went to bring a screen guard for s24 ultra and the shopkeeper told me toh apply uv glass but i denied and said that this is complete flat screen and i dont think uv glass is needed for flat i used normal tempered glass so you should have also gone for the same

it happens to me when the glueyou went to my power button. it can easily fix, get some cotton buds with alcohol rub it on the buttons and click it hundreds or thousand times, repeat

Good content. Did the person put tape around the frame to protect the buttons and the speaker, and the s pen. I've put on many liquid screen protectors. The best for my s23 ultra is the Whitestone dome film or glass screen protector. Those cheep ones like the one you had put on your phone that's what happens. Whitestone dome glass screen protector cost a bit, but it's worth it.

This is just a user error. You don't need those glue/UV glue screen protectors on flat displays. And even if you did use those UV/Glue protectors, you should install with care and with knowledge of how to do it. Thumbs down on this one mate. Waste of time I would say.
