Its awesome to see some representation for alabama, we hunt south alabama (connecuh/brewton area) and have been tearing the woodies up! Hopefully it gets better for yall up there

My poles, I been trying with your double minnow rig... how fast you going? How far back? How fast😊. Teal? Quacking?

When pushing minnows I’m going no faster than 0.4 mph. I’m targeting fish in 12-15 feet of water and running the baits about 8-10 feet deep. With the horseheads I run 0.6-1.0 mph and run 80 feet of line to target suspended crappie at 10-12 feet deep. If I see them deeper (around 15) on sonar I will run the lines at 100 feet.

I’d love to. Season in Alabama doesn’t open till Sept. 14. Haven’t been able to do any scouting either so even when it opens may not be any good.
