As someone who doesn’t watch the NBA (unless it’s an exciting payoff series), and who shouldn’t have much business watching the WNBA either, I tuned into almost all of CC’s highlights in 2024 … and a grand total of zero for any other basketball games. That really says something about her draw and appeal from all fan bases (and even external). The WNBA is blowing their golden ticket.

Before Caitlin Clark, the WNBA was unwatchable. Who cares to see slow, unathletic players miss 2 foot shots, repeatedly. Caitlin Clark brought millions of fans, and dollars. "Established stars"? If those stars don't put fans in the seats, then they are NOT stars.

It is a coalition of the referees and the WNBA, to retain the records of old players and current players the WNBA does not want Caitlin Clark to overwhelm the existing records or of great players who played before her. Caitlin Clark, you are so kind after all the mistreatment you received from the WNBA, REFEREES, lots of bullies and players who are jealous of you, still have the heart to forgive all including the WNBA. You should have tried the European Offer first for at least one year then come back to see if the WNBA and officiating have improved....

The fact of the matter is that Angel Reese is not able to hit shots more than a few feet fro the basket. The only reason her rebound totals are so high is because half of her rebounds are off of her own missed shots. The fact that she’s a poor shooter pads her rebound totals.
