I would say there are some problems between the makers of senran Kagura and Dead or Alive and its quite petty on Team ninja. The design team for doa would take outfit designs from Senran Kagura offcial art and make a "dumbed" down version of the outfits and wouldnt credit Senran Kagura for the "inspiration". If you compare Shiki's gal style high school outfit with Tina and Rachel's high school outfits, you can tell doa didnt even try to make it look different. Sure they changed the look but the lingerie is literally copy and pasted. Im not sure if this what tanked doa dlc for being a jacked up price of 100 to 500 dollars for season passes.(all of doa 6's dlc season passes total to 500 to 600 depending when team ninja has a 3 day sale for a 20 percent discount and if you buy them all.) team ninja was doing collaborations with popular anime fighting games/ animes, (guilty Gear Xrd, Fairy tail, their magical girl transformation costumes that they renamed to try and sell it at a higher price, Senran Kagura naturally) without consent of the people that made the franchise's. Don't get me wrong, the crossover dlc was peak but they didn't have permission to use another games creations for their own. Idk if every company threatened to sue team ninja for copying and plagiarism but, all crossover dlc was taken off until i think around spring 2020 to 2021. Senran Kagura's game makers still have Doa dlc for Peach Beach Splash but they removed Ayane off from the other game because of the problems with team ninja :c
