I used to listen to this song on the radio when I was a kid in 1996, and thought it was a nice song. Now that I'm a parent of 4, this has me completely wrecked in a puddle of tears. I love my wife and kids so much and it's been a very hard year for me being unemployed from my career, and trying to find work without much luck. All I want to do is to have the means to take care of my family with all of the strength in my hand.... These timeless songs really hit harder when you're an adult.

This song is special to me. Amy and I were born within a year of each other, got married (to different people of course, lol) within a year of each other. I lost my Dad in 1989, my first son was born less than 2 years afterr the one mentioned in the song and lost my Mum the year the song came out in 96. Rips me apart every time I hear it.
