Nice motor the only thing is for the same weight you could put a 40hp OMC on it. Smooth and quite too especially the 89'-up. I'd be interested to see what you think of the vibration from the Honda at idle. The 2 cyls go in the same direction, and in a tiller motor will turn your hand cherry red on an aluminum. the 3 cylinder tohatsu 25hp IS glass smooth, but thats neither here nor there. Cheers looks nice. Big fuel savings and a bit more power, too with this one.

@@drmstudio5050 several first year for '59 pieces here... The bow piece, the red-lettered bird logo, the dash plaque, and the short splash rail with the angled front cut. The Viking was indeed introduced in '56, but as a cockpit boat. You should be able to find the model/ serial number on the outside starboard panel, up near the gunnel, right about where the deck and dash join together. Most likely will start with a "711" (speedster model number) followed by the production serial number.

Beautiful truck! I am restoring a 1967 Chevy K20 myself. Were you able to get powersteering added? I am trying to figure that out on mine now. If you did add powersteering, were you able to keep the steering arm on the axle stock, or did you have to cut it down?

Thanks! Turning that Chevy into 4wd was a cool project. I’ll see what I can do regarding the CX57. Two things I’ll say about it is…it’s got big cylinders and it’s fast…maybe too fast for me at this time, but I’m learning.

Great video...however, i would've loved to see more comparison info between the case and the bobbi. Things you liked better, digging power, cab space, window view, cab space, cab space... New subr!!
@drmstudio50504 ай бұрын
Thanks! Tons of cab space! I think I mentioned that, hmmm, but yes tons of space. Recliner space! The digging power is more, big cylinders unlike a mini, way fast (learning curve), the bob was easier to control because it’s slower, but I really liked the E50…but our service in the area is nil. That’s the reason for the change.

Boy oh boy, you have a lot of snow management to do around your personal property as well. Our horse farm here in New Jersey can get kind of crazy when we get decent snowfall totals. I really like that snow bucket you have many of times I’ve thought maybe I should add one to my arsenal as well, I fed up a snowplow for my skid steer out of an old truck plow. And I also have a cheap Chinese snow pusher and they both work well also. Until the snow has very wet and heavy and you don’t have the traction to push the weight anymore that’s snow buckets nice because if you run out of traction, you can always pick up the clump and haul it away. Enjoyed watching the video. I need to work on getting some outside angles when I do my snow management videos keep up the good work.🙂👍
@drmstudio50506 ай бұрын
Thank you…the bucket is really nice to have. It’s 108 inches wide and is 2 yards. It came from a larger front end loader. Moving banks in the spring to speed driveway drying is where it really shines. Thanks for tuning in and all the best for the new year.

Demoed a case tr270, . Rough ride compared to kubota, bobcat, cat . It seems case is still using single flange track rollers front and rear , so its always riding in steel inbed of track . Vibration was crazy . Also lift arms to close to machine with no visibility wider attachments like snow pusher or large bucket. No visibility to right side of bucket with door on machine. Case has alot of work to do. Fancy screen doesn't sell a machine.
