Right before the pandemic I had my cable turned off. I watch most of my entertainment online. I am new to Jordan Firstman. He makes me feel like I am 13 years old again. Since I'm Generation X I want "Rotting in the Sun" on DVD!

He is a very unappealing person. At a few points it seems like the interviewer wants to hang himself he is so repulsed by JF.

Hello, this is the interviewer - Jad. I was not repulsed by JF, he was very kind and charming. If I seem distracted or disinterested it was probably owing to being camera-shy, or the stress of putting together a video show at short notice. Something for me to work on. Thanks for the feedback.

Well, he's not wrong about gay men being mean and judgemental but between them, there is also a lot of obvious ass-licking. If anything, this is THE most obvious and problematic part of Berlin's ''queer'' scene since every other queer identity is overlooked and disadvantaged. This trend of him or others coming here to use it as a playground whenever they're having some kind of crisis, just perpetuates more trouble than cultivate a real community feeling, which is what the culture here actually needs.

Thanks for the feedback Matilda. Do you not think of the nightclub as having a sacred status in queer culture? A place where we lose ourselves to find ourselves, a place of community or a safe space. A place we can process trauma through joy?
