I had same issue on driver side. My tube was black. That tube is plastic and i hear shrinks over time. Putting it back in there may cause problem to happen again. Its recommended to somehow extend or use a silicone to prevent disconnect in the future. My tube was so short, i couldnt put it right back in so maybe you will be fine since you didnt have any trouble reconnecting it. Thanks for your video.

You can't fix egr if it leaks from the flap, if you live in cold climate I strongly suggest not to delete ur egr, you will have no heat at idle or cold start will never Warm up also..let's not talk about the stinky exhaust you will have, if you Park in the garage it will kill you ! I bought a used one and about to replace mine since I live in cold climate and Park in the garage.

@@AndersonERockefeller i live in Florida hot climate. I’ve just been dealing with the hissing noises. The plunger stays open or something like that. I’ve watched the issue while the car was in the air.

What do you do after you block it off? You need to tune the car??

Mine is tuned already , just to keep ck engine light off , make sure ur egr valve is in open position if your not using a race pipe

Same question what you mean in open position? My ASV moves when cycling the key I’d like to just keep the valve but block off and completely remove EGR cooler and want to avoid a tune I can’t find any reasonable tune ..

You are correct was told it was a 318 but I found out it’s a 360 got carb rebuilt and it sounds like a beast will post more videos soon

I think there’s only 1 drain if I remember correctly . Is the drain on the passenger side allowing water to come out?

@@jrphillips1098 passenger side is draining fine. Driver side has the same drain hole and no tube attached so water is going down a pillar inside truck

Thanks JR. I don't think mine had ever been connected, the brown hose connector was on the hose but not connected to the drain spout. Took about 20 mins. to take apart and put back together. Shop would've charged an arm and a leg, because of the airbag I'm sure.
