I wish you could find better music, or use the sounds of the water. I can't listen to that "on hold" music for over 20 seconds. Light winds and hot weather? What a surprise :)

Definitely can agree with that. In the year since this one was originally created I’ve started paying for a service that offers better music options than the free stuff that was available at the time. Hopefully these newer videos will be better for the ears. I wish I had the same control over the wind 😀

Thought about that kind of setup and was always concerned that it would fall on my head some day from one of the parts failing. Sweet setup though!

It's been a good setup - had it going for ~10 years now and go up/down 2-4 times a year.

You should give it a try sometime. Hop on someone's boat for a long casual cruise. It might change your mind. Sailors say the same about motorboats, banging around in your seat, not being able to hear the person next to you. lol

I don't think they ever saw it. Going down the leg I had thought it was a RC boat just hanging out at the mark and didn't realize he was fishing until I was right up at it.

Just a GoPro on a clamp attached to the head of the sail. Camera was clamped on when the sail went up and filmed until it ran out of battery. There was just enough room above the headboard and inside the backstay for the camera.
