I don't care what anyone says... Michael Bowen is a relative unknown but his performance in this scene is one of the greatest in TV drama history 👏

When we see the state that Lock's father is in, when Jack meets him in season six, we see that he did end up in hell.

Tom Sawyer was the living embodiment of a prick. He took John's kidney and threw him out of a window then had the audacity to say that John was a “spineless rat” when John had never done anything to him. And then the prick didn’t even read the letter James gave to him, then as James strangled him Sawyer looked almost pissed, like he didn’t know why James was so angry. Sawyer blamed everything he did on other people, never had anything good to say or do and showed no remorse for his actions. R.I.H Tom Sawyer

Interesting that both Christian and Anthony talks to Sawyer/James about hell... Sawyer doesn't even suspect hell when the boar haunts him with memories of the man he killed.

Arrogance the moment they don’t give options for him. Should’ve been the day or the day he activated something that would put the court of owls in a weakened position at the cost of most things. Even in that business there should some respect. To ask him without thinking of what that actually means. Is arrogance He would tell his men this too. Every action they cause will probably the only good thing they will do in their lives. No holding back. Break a talon. It may heal but the memory of such a wound scar them

Matches Malone was not a good man by any means, but he had enough of a soul to realize that, if he lived in an ugly nasty world, it was ugly and nasty because of men like him. He made his excuses about how the world made him as he is, but he also knows that none of it is good enough of an excuse. Bruce, though ... ? He's weighing it all in his mind, and I think he simply decides in the end: more killing won't help. Even if it might seem to make sense in the moment, it just makes for a world where killing is how things are done.
