Can you not see that your Christmas ball is not even round? Maybe you should invest in some die cuts and a die cut machine or take the time to cut out your ball better. I know that these are hand made cards but we do have tools to make our cards look professional. I am not trying to be mean, just some advice for you is all.

Most of these are just found in thrift stores/charity shops. The dissolvable fabric for machine embroidery I bought from Amazon. Hope this helps - have fun playing :)

couple of questions: 4x4 1/2 squares are you putting facing on each piece and do you sew on 4,5 edge or 4inch side

This is how my mother taught us girls to repurpose towels in the 60's.. We made binding out of flour sack fabric. Back in the day 20 pound bags of rice, beans or flour came in fabric sacks.

When people say “it takes a community” THIS is what they mean. The kindness in this simple act is huge! And problem solving the showering issue! Amazing! I was looking for a sewing guide to make my own ostomy bag covers and figured the person making this item would be doing it for themselves or maybe their child or family member not just “someone” in their community. The kindness here 🤯😭😭😭. Thank you.

Thanks very much for a clear, straight-to-the-point demonstration, and thank you also for the great idea to make one out of a shower curtain! Though my bag does dry somewhat quickly, it would be nice to have that option if I am short on time and want to save those few minutes getting ready.

I've been saving my boys' jeans since they were little, and planning to make denim rag quilts for each of them as high school graduation gifts. I've watched a ton of videos, looked at samples, and yours is by far the best. Thank you for creating something simple, easy to understand, and for sharing best practices. You have saved me a ton of energy and time already. Thank you!

When the title is how to sew, it would perhaps be an idea to show the sewing? First you fold and then snap; it`s sewed as by magic...

This looks really nice! That printed tissue paper is especially cool, I bet you could do interesting layering things with that. Or would it be too fragile to use in the foreground? I'm just imagining another strip of paper with little green splotches of grass, laid in front of the flowers along the bottom... I think that kind of thing would be really cute. Maybe I'll try it and see!

That "viewing hole" is a great idea! I've done similar things in digital art, trying to find the right framing to crop an image to. It's so neat to see the same concepts in action in physical media!
