Legendary band, 'Chicago', reached out to Voice Play after hearing their cover of "Nothing Else Matters" and invited them to sing with them in concert. Voice Play sang two shows with 'Chicago' in Atlantic City back in November. Omar was their featured guest but J None went with them as a backup as Eli's son was due to be born and J None was ready to cover for Eli if he had to leave. Oh the frustration of controllers not wanting to work 😕. I remember those days. I've had Commadore, Atari, Nintendo, Xbox Xbox 360. All the controllers were the same. Nintendo had the extra of having to blow into the cartridge before putting it in the console. Sometimes several times. But they were all worth it.

I think everything she does in her performances is perfectly calculated, the breaths, the cracks, the screams, etc (until they're not *cough* Usseewa live *cough*). She's an absolute master at that, telling the story of the song through the way she sings, kind of like a seiyuu (a voice actress in anime). I don't know if you looked up the lyrics, but they're pretty much about someone who's losing his humanity and the more desperate the lyrics get, the more intense her breaths and voice get. I don't think you need to watch Tokyo Ghoul (but it's a pretty good anime if you like it a bit gory), it would probably be sufficient to read a more detailed synopsis and the song lyrics and you basically get what this is all about.

I mean Ado's debut was in 2020 and she is currently wrapping up her first world tour "Wish" with her final few shows in the US after performing in Asia and Europe the past month so I guess you could say she's getting the recognition she deserves worldwide, but she still deserves way more in my opinion

Ado (you were pronouncing her name right) is a Japanese 2002 born singer, she started by doing cover songs on the site Niconico as a young teenager and debuted her original son Usseewa when she was only 17 gaining a lot of traction from it. I'd highly recommend you react to these following songs if you want to see more from her since i'd love to see you react to more Ado: Usseewa, Odo, Readymade, Ashura-chan, Crime and Punishment, Show.
