Imagine doing that, 4 days straight, only 10 feet from the epi-center for the biggest earthquake in your lif? I worked as Medical Rescue with NHRA for several years. I required a new shirt daily, due to burnt rubber and nitro mist floating at you. Ear plugs,cotton & good hearing protection headset, still is not enough. Ahh, but that adrenaline sure is a rush.

As a kid I got the same feelings going to IHRA tractor pulls where you have the big multi-engine tractors running 4 or 5 blown alcohol big blocks...indoors with NO venting. It was crazy and when the twin turbine/jet powered tractors pulled they'd literally blow ceiling tiles out of the roof of the coliseum. Man the 80's were great!

Boy, I'm seeing the 1965 film now. The guy had a good truck back then. I was just 8 years old at the time. I can remember the 1960s the snow storms they used to get when I was a kid. Anyone that has a computer want to look this up in history. They say the 1940s through '60s with some of the worst storms that used to get back then and snow storms. I grew up in Providence Rhode Island and I can remember the 60s. They didn't have a truck like this during the plow and where I was living in Providence. They used to use garbage trucks. They were white back then before they had their trucks of today that they use. Those were the good old days. Thank you for sharing this video with all of us out there.
It's a Scania 76 4x2. Manufactured between 1963 and 1968, so nearly brand new here. 😄

I used a 1948 8N Ford tractor to move snow for over 25yrs. Then I bought a used 1977 Dodge Power Wagon w/fulltime 4 wheel drive and a factory front plow. The truck had a very big engine @ 400 cid, an automatic transmission and 4.56 to 1 axle gears. I put a slide-in camper on it for weight whenever I plowed snow and it was unstoppable. Night and Day difference from the old tractor. ben/ michigan
@davewinter26886 ай бұрын
I recently sold my 1977 Dodge W150 Power Wagon Club Cab with the 400 Cu. in. engine. Same 727 transmission and transfer case but mine came with 3.55 gears and Holley 2 barrel carb so it would get 15-16 mpg on road but was not a great puller. Modified it with RV cam, 760 Thermoquad, 4.10 gears with 16” tires on running gear from 1979 250 series Dana 60. Then added the Jacobs computer controlled ignition system which really lit it up. Then it was a decent trailer puller but never could turn it into a 440 or 5.9 Cummins. Best it would do was 9 mpg down hill with a tail wind with no load. 7-8 mpg with a heavy trailer. Never had a plow on it. That’s what I use a 100+ hp farm tractor for.

@BlownPredator7 ай бұрын
Because you would like to save some of the race and be able to see it again... until the next time / year you go to the track ? Because you would like to share it for friends, and other people... like you - here on youtube ? How would you otherwise get to see anything.... that you don't see IRL? Anything else you don't get...? Probably... 🙄😅

@kiiroMADE7 ай бұрын
