Does it need any water? Or the juice goes straight to the pot? Great video 👌🏻

Why not infuse the milk with the vanilla bean as well?

Nice job! What made you choose Scotch instead of Mezcal?
@HappinessBar2 ай бұрын
So, the Peated Scotch/Tequila combo was inspired by a Sasha Petraske Cocktail called the Si Guey that is in his book called Regarding Cocktails! I’ve done a couple different style of cocktails with that combo and just love the complexity!

Saline solution?
@HappinessBar2 ай бұрын
Oh yeah! This particular one is a 15% Saline Solution. So, for every 100 grams of water I use 15 grams of salt. Saline Solution is used in cocktails the same way you use salt when cooking. It opens up flavors and can add a little more complexity!

As someone who is trying to learn more about simple classic techniques the energy and technique level up in this video was awesome. Keep grinding and putting out videos of this level and you will be seen! Would also love if you would go into a little more detail about why you chose the spirits your chose and perhaps the history of the cocktail. Thanks!
@HappinessBar2 ай бұрын
Hey! Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment! I film a few episodes ahead, but I will definitely keep that in mind for future episode and try to incorporate a little more history and spirit choice! As for the Ramazotti Flip… it is essentially just a subtle riff on the well known Cynar Flip. I just wanted to switch out the type of amaro to try something different. Same for the Toki Suntory Japanese Whiskey. And I used Turbinado sugar to obtain a bit more molasses note as the original Flip recipe from the 1600’s usually contained molasses. Thanks again! Stay Happy!

hey man this is my first time seeing your videos and i dont mean to hate or anything but i think your videos would look way better if you use a white light in the room and maybe improve the camera quality cause as far as ive seen the quality of this video is way too good to get this few likes 👍

@chocolatechipcookies21173 ай бұрын
@@HappinessBar should be, exactly like when you bleach the greens for the same reason. I’m learning mixology my self so I’m still not sure about the ratio, but shoot be about 1-3 grams per 250 ml I think😅

Dope! Thanks for the advice! I'll have to give that a try the next time a makes a syrup like that. If you're learning mixology, and like all the science side of it, check out a book called Liquid Intelligence!
