I like this Irene Cara mix as a synth-rock-disco pure dance leading to techno rap-disco of the 1990s. In the movie Fame and movie Flashdance it's not as energetic but still good music also from Irene Cara's legacy in music.

There were lots of original songs from the 80's that were good but the tech just wasn't there to make them even better... "Tainted Love" and "Send Me an Angel" are two more examples.. I remember Irena Cara merely coming out of nowhere and stealing the show with her voice giving us something slightly different from the rest...

Amistades en 1985 me estaba formando como policía y un orientador hablo del break afirmando que los jóvenes se metían drogas para hacerlo y yo me levante de mi pupitre y le dije esto es falso yo lo bailo y nunca me pico para hacerlo y si quiere se lo baila aquí de una vez y lo hice y luego le dije si quiere vamos y me hace un antidoping para ve si tengo droga en la sangre y me dijo disculpame

Breakdancing was better in the 80's.🙂👍 You have to be in great shape to do these moves. You have to have a strong core to do these moves all these guys are in great shape.

To be in great shape you had to train many hours per day. Further you needed patient parents, being ready to listen the same music again and again. You must accept pain, sprained limbs and bruises. And what for? Just to catch a little piece of fame in the local discotheque, because you've been the only fellow who could perform a show nobody else could do... Hell, where is the time of my youth gone...? :-)))

Brad Couture that’s because breaking incorporated some elements of gymnastics 🤸♀️ in some of the moves.
