Firstly, its great to see my Black brothers opening a forum to discuss this topic and others like it. The bit you've touched which is really of interest to me, is the social circle and friends and family because its in those areas you can commonly see strains on relationships where the black partner is not so quickly accepted.

banton99 many thanks for your comment we appreciate the feedback 🙏🏾. We find interracial relationships a really fascinating topic as each one is unique and you’re totally right in what you say about the social circle and family! This can have a huge impact!

Dr Efe speaking of appropriation... so i used google maps to find a Caribbean shop near where i live, only to get there and find that it's being run by eastern european folk. I find it hard to describe the way I was disappointed not to see that welcoming screw face of the Caribbean shop lady!

That is sad to hear that another black owned business used underhand tactics to stop another black owned business from flourishing. That crabs in a barrel mentality is something that's holding us back, we should welcome competition it helps us rise our game.

Goes to show that only one opinion matters most and that’s the one you have for yourself. That careers advisor’s could’ve derailed you so early in life 😠
