I had that GS750 too, not the full back bars but the normal I guess? not the one with the sissy bar and big seat and bars that come way back the more sporty one, purple, I put headers, carbs, shield n it, used to take it into canada a lot, coming thru the skaigit valley at night was o cold when the fog rolled in off the puget sound, so I installed a full windshield to ward off the wind and it worked real well .. put a lot of miles on that bike, had it since oh, 1987 till 2003 .. I ended up putting the donut style sportbike tires on it and boy did she corner then .. yessir, at stop lights going left or right I was dragging pegs, no jokes.. i'd take her out to the Jordan road all those good roads and rail around, had fun... kinda miss that bike, all but the wobbles at 120 ...

Hey Richard. I ride my '09 RT-P to visit my folks down in SoCal. Do you have a comparable backpack that is smaller than 30L? I ask because I would have to mount it onto the radio box and 30L seems a litttle big. Thanks

I realise that this is an old post but I'm interested to know if you ever got the intercom to work after receiving or making calls. I always have to restart the 30K to enable the intercom again. Sadly they seem to have dropped calling Speed dials via voice command on the 50S

Kathy and I have retired after 40 years in the business. I have a 50C, Kathy as a 50S We are always connected ... BUT ... I cannot recall taking a call when we are connected as she is usually the one to call me ;-) ... BUT ... I see no reason why the unit would turn off or drop your intercom after hanging up a call. PLUS there have beenmany firmware updates since this video was done make sure you are up to date. Sorry but you will need to find a new Guru ;-) I am riding my bicycle ...... Ride safe.

Good video. I just saw the button for the first time and been riding around opening my visor trying to hear stuff. This video also got my attention and I visited RKA luggage. Nice looking bags. I hope you do more of these short sweet and to the point videos , they help and bonus gets your luggage seen. I am a fan of the liner bags for my GSA and if I ever find extra money to do everything I want to do those would be a strong consideration for me. I hope your luggage gets more exposure. I hope to see some up close and check them out hands on. I will at least know what I am looking at if I see a set out on the road. I am a big fan of American made quality products. Good luck. I hope you guys thrive and do well.

Hello Richard, thank you so much 🙂 Very helpful video. Now my SENA Stryker works as expected. Short info, I bought my Stryker-helmet directly at SENA online in first quater of 2024. Also this helmet have the not updated firmware, which you can't update easily yourselfs. The SENA firmware update tool doesn't work with my helmet. The connection was too unstable to read or flash software. I think you made the same experience before you made the video 🙂 Many thanks and kind regards, PeFe

Could not find the SENA SR10 device for sale (by SENA). I have the same Midland 75-822 CB Radio. So, instead utilized a Wireless BT Adapter (HB-6A) and Remote PTT (Key) (HB-6B) units which are battery powered and mini-USB rechargeable. Paired the BT Adapter with my SENA 20S EVO Headset. Works Great! Overcome the mechanical (physical) constraint of mating the HB-6A Device directly to the Radio, by using (making) a short extension cable.

I have the same Midland 75-822 CB Radio on my Motorcycle. Could not find the SENA SR10 device for sale (by SENA). So, instead utilized a Wireless BT Adapter (HB-6A) and Wireless Remote PTT (Key) (HB-6B) units which are battery powered and USB rechargeable. $30 for the pair, plus $15 to $20 for (10 - 15 day) shipping. The Remote PTT is nice since no wiring is required. Velcro strapped (provided) to left handlebar grip; thumb activated. Red light activates when PTT active. Paired the BT Adapter with the Remote PTT unit. Then, paired the BT Adapter with my SENA 20S EVO Helmet Headset. Works Great! Overcome the mechanical (physical) constraint (clearance issues) of mating the HB-6A Device directly to my version of Midland CB Radio, by using (making) a short extension cable. There are off the shelf 2-pin molded extension cables for purchase, but a little expensive to me. Other Midland Portable/Handheld Radio models would allow for direct connection of the 2-pin BT Adapter. The BT Adapter HB-6A-I model/version purchased is for ICOM (I1 & I2) Radios. Same 2-pin 2.5mm (2-pole TS) Microphone/PTT & 3.5mm (2-pole TS) Speaker interface as the Midland CB Radio connecters. Can pair BT Adapter to SENA Headset as a second mobile phone or as GPS. Can provide (via cable) USB +5Vdc power to the BT Adapter while in operation and installed on the Motorcycle. Although, the 7 to 9 hours of battery life is adequate for my daily rides. BT Adapter has a 400mAh battery life. The Remote PTT unit battery life is identified as 3-months. The HB-6A-I BT Adapter 2-pin 2.5mm to 3.5mm Center-to-Center pin spacing is 10mm. Other BT Adapter models are available for other Radios with K-Type (11mm) and M-Type (8mm) Center-to-Center pin spacing. The marking on the BT Adapter box received for the ICOM HB-6A-I unit is further identified as 'ModelTC-IM V8'. Consider adding these identification markings as a comment as special additional instructions when ordering online.

In regards to the short extension cable, located an off-the-shelf cable. ICOM Right Angle Adapter Cable, 2-Pin Male to 2-Pin Female. Part Number OPC2144. 9-Inches overall length. Flexible. Right Angle end at Radio 2-pin Male end. Opposite end is straight 2-pin Female. The cable exits the Radio allowing maximum clearance for the Squelch & Volume knobs. This OPC2144 Extension Adapter cable supports 3 signals per each connector, for a total of 6 signals. The Midland 75-822 2.5mm Microphone connector supports a 2-pole TS (pin-1 MIC/PTT, pin-2 Ground) or a 3-pole TRS (pin-1 MIC/PTT, pin-2 no connect, pin-3 Ground) and the 3.5mm Speaker connector supports a 2-pole TS (pin-1 Speaker, pin-2 Ground), but also accepts a 3-pole TRS (pin-1 Speaker, pins 2 & 3 Ground).

Interesting. I have my Cardo connected to TFT (it wouldn't support calls otherwise), and I cannot play music at all. Whatever I play on the phone, stays on the phone. In spotify I don't even see the TFT (ICC6.5in) as an output. Only things that are working as expected is any navigation app talking to my cardo _through_ the TFT just fine, and that's it. (Android, no Navi device)

This intercom is terrible. give it a couple of years and the speakers start breaking up, mic does not work well, you have to stick a match into the battery slot to keep it in place and stop from switching off. Pairing this piece of crap with other devices is a nightmare. A complete waste of money.
