I've been doing your workouts for 6 weeks now, I'm so happy I found you. I feel so good after each of your workouts, they're a perfect intensity level for me and the best part is that I feel like you're really working all the right muscles that I need to be strong to go through pregnancy. I see the proof in how little aches and pains I feel since starting your exercises. Thank you so much!

I have a question, when I do side planks, for example on my left side, the right side of my belly bulges upward, is this considered coning?
@bellystrong22 күн бұрын
This is so amazing to hear. I'm really happy to helped in any way 😊
@bellystrong22 күн бұрын
So that wouldn't be coning as coning will always happen in the middle. It may be that as you work your obliques on the bottom side, they contract and that pressure pushes things over to the right side. I'd try to focus on flattening the lower abs a bit more, but it shouldn't be anything to worry about too much, as long as your general form is good.

Hi, is this safe when slight diastasis is still present or is this for when your diastasis is fully healed?
@bellystrongАй бұрын
It's more about how well you can load. If you have a very mild diastasis, but can keep good form with no doming or sinking through your separation, and you can maintain good and flat tension across the abdomen, then exercises like this may be alright. Hope this helps!

That's a little tricky as it will be different for everyone! However, common things to address with knee pain are glute strength, single leg balance and core strength.

@bellystrongАй бұрын
If you've been cleared for exercise and you take things at your own pace, you could give it a go! I might lie on a few cushions though instead of lying flat if you're 9 months pregnant.
@camillestmartin2649Ай бұрын
Do you think this program would be ok for postpartum & already conceived? 5 months postpartum, still feel like I'm recovering, but also 3 months pregnant.
@bellystrongАй бұрын
Congrats on the pregnancy! If you feel like the level of the workouts are at a level that you can manage well, and your body feels good, there's no reason why not. I'd just avoid anything with lying on the stomach or full sit-ups. If you feel you're having to modify too much, then you could also check out some of the pregnancy workouts on the channel. Hope this helps!

It’s impossible ro do side planks and lie in the back during 36 weeks. These excercises are not adjusted for big belly on 36 weeks :(
@bellystrongАй бұрын
Sorry to hear you're struggling. It'll be different for all women - some will be able to do these things all the way through pregnancy; others may need adjustment. An alternative for lying on the back can be to lie on a wedge so the upper body is elevated. Side lying clamshells can be an alternative for side planks. Hope this helps!
