I've been playing several different ttrpgs for 45 years. Never gonna stop. it's also because of irresponsible parents. Film Threat is now a very good podcast on KZbin. One of the two podcasts I watch.

The vitriol on the _Joker_ sequel _is_ a bit over the top. Yes, it could have been better, and the ending is very "wt𝘍...?", but there are moments... and not just _my_ screen time... 😉

From whereabouts in New Jersey does he hale...? Northern, Central, or Southern? Back when my online radio show was still a thing, we had a guest who mentioned she was from New Jersey, so I asked whereabouts, and she said "a town no one's ever heard of: Mountain Lakes," to which I pointed out growing up in Pompton Plains (which literally is about two or three towns over).

I've had _The Substance_ as something I "probably should see," but it's kind o' off to the side. I was going to see it last night but too many people had recommended _Wild Robot_ which I switched out for it, which was fine as _Wild Robot_ was incredible. Tomorrow night Friday I get to see if my name is in the end credits of a major motion picture in which I was upgraded (I'm visible in a couple of the trailers). I'd added myself to its imdb, as had several others but we've learned our names have been removed (while uncredited actors' names are still there). We're hoping production is going to "re"add us with clarified role descriptions.

I really like Katherine Hahn and Aubrey Plaza, and while I still need to see episode 4, so far I've been enjoying _Agatha All Along,_ and wonder what others (KZbin reviewers) see it as gay and such. I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Watching the trailer for _Anchoress,_ I recognized Pete Postlethwaite immediately, but I was more, "wtf is that Christopher Eccleston...?" (so cool that got clarified so I didn't have to look it up). The stone cell reminded me of the final act of the weird Alan Arkin movie _The Magician of Lublin._

I first saw 𝘊𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘔𝘢𝘯 (𝘋𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦) on cable so many years ago. Eventually I obtained its DVD. Predictably I loved the very dark humour, and understandably... I loved Anna Falchi. I was impressed with the filming of That Most Notable Scene, where behind her extend stone statue angel wings, as though they are sprouting from her own back. I love the general wtf'ness of the film, such as the mobile disembodied head, Falchi's sad and unnecessary fate, and the surreal closing shot of the film. (I'd later come across 𝘋𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 costar François Hadji-Lazaro in 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘭𝘧.)

I was more of an HR Pufnstuf and _Land of the Lost_ watcher, though I _have_ always liked the Banana Splits silly but ear-worm catchy Tra-La-La theme song... Weird they'd have the Banana SpIits as automatons, when they were (clearly) costumed people.

In the movie, people are definitely in the costumes, but the story has them as malfunctioning robot types. It works as told, but possessed people or something like that could have been fun.

I saw _Trap_ last night. I actually liked it, though I felt it was a bit uneven. Yes the girl playing Raven was very flat, and I was expecting either the wife to turn out to be the actual killer or that she was in cahoots with the husband. But what I (as well as the rest of the audience), really enjoyed was the _comedy_ throughout.
