I don't get the need to hype something up so early if the release is like half year away, the hype will die when we get there and nobody will care anymore, not to mention, it doesnt exactly matter when the game releases, players will play it regardless, and as tanki isn't a game based on fast progress, people will have to invest time into as for the tanki classic birthday, it could still be celebrated in june, or it could not be celerated at all, i doubt a whole lot of people will care when the special cake gold drops, as long as it does drop. i'm not really keen on having to wait a really long time for such things, time is a currency that can't be regained, unlike money.

I think he was probably talking about big changes to the main game itself and we just don’t know yet because tanki takes forever to announce these things. Also important to remember that during this interview he said they weren’t working on any other projects or games and their focus was only on tanki.

I am personally a mobile player , and I hate it when PC players don't appreciate it when I or many mobile players beat them in PRO Battle particularly in XP/BP , under the name of , he has auto aim . If you look at the game settings , it's auto shoot , which shoots once it locks onto the enemy with the red highlight , and funny facts , we don't even use it , cause it's slow and we always Preshoot , and secondly because it shoots automatically , They don't know how to read . as much as I love how tanki was before 2017, i dont wanna get my hopes up at all, better that rather than being disappointed. Whether we like it or not, alterations are a necessity to keep replayability. One of the things i disliked about old tanki was you get one combo maxed, you play it and what then? Do you wanna play the same exact turret, hull, maps and mode constantly? When you max other turret hull, the cycle repeats. It may have been fun 7 years ago when everyone was 10+ years old and had all day to play a game, not now when a lot of people are 20+.

Hey SHK, some brief thoughts: First and foremost, I agree with your points on Alterations, the M0-M3 Upgrade System, and the Game Balance in terms of reining in buyer vs. free-to-play disparity. As far as textures, skins, and shot effects (I feel I can lump these together), I very much like your idea as far as mild cosmetics for shot effects. This keeps some semblance of the customization we currently have while bringing back the old feel of worthwhile upgrades. That being said, as much as I think the new textures are cool, I believe a combination of HD texturing and the old textures/skins is the best option for Tanki Classic. This way the feel of M0 to M3 feels like it used to, but maybe in a less blocky, PlayStation2-esque way. Taking each iteration (M0-M3) of each turret/hull and giving them a graphical upgrade while keeping the art-style checks all of these boxes and fits the "Classic" theme. My last point targets the game modes. This one might just be me. I don't see an issue with some of the newer game modes being added, though a few are contingent on how they will be implemented. Some modes never really caught on (Rugby, Siege), some were demolished by certain turrets (Magnum in Assault), some were harmed by poor developer decision-making (Team Juggernaut instead of Deathmatch Juggernaut). How each mode is implemented and the change in arsenal from TO to TC will be a big factor in any of these modes taking off.

here are my thoughts: 1) i dont think modern gamemodes fit in old tanki, it no longer feels 'classic' 2) alterations/augments are the main reason the game is so unbalanced, anyone who's played modern tanki knows this, that's why i prefer just the basic turrets and hulls, but having skill at using them instead of a paid advantage, also these things really took the uniqueness of each turret and completely disregarded it, like for example, why does freeze lose its ability to freeze the enemy, or why does every turret get critical hits when smoky was the only turret prior to have it, or why does railgun shoot as fast as thunder, or smoky shoots as fast as twins, or thunder which deals no splash damage, the list goes on and on but i'll stop here. 3) HD textures instantly tell me that, what the player really wants to play isn't tanki classic but just the normal tanki online 4) skins and shot effects... well modern tanki online has those, so why bother switching to tanki classic just to spend money to get the same items you already own? 5) this is a no brainer, obviously the game wont use the mk system, it wouldnt be classic at all if it did. 6) the balance was great back in the early days of the game, when the only pay to win thing u could get was crystals, which u could only spend on items that you have unlocked with your current rank, intead of buying overpowered kits 10 ranks early to ruin the balance. in conclusion: I think that people who want all of these modern features to be in the game, genuinely just want modern tanki to be revived rather than a classic version replacing it with the same content that the modern game has, that's why i'm so fond of 2013, it had fairly good balance, it was harder to progress but it felt rewarding with each rank and new piece of equipment, pay to win was very minimal as well, druggers were probably pretty common but then again, if all the players get a good amount of supplies, then that's gonna be fine, or the opposite, make supplies so expensive that people wont drug in battles. A classic era of the game is usually the early days of the game, technically speaking, tanki classic would end up being 2010 probably, but everyone knows it was doo doo balancing back then, that's why i think 2013 fits the build of 'classic tanki' much more, since it had proper balancing, addicting progression and so on.
