I love my 790R and will get an 890 when it dies. I chose it for my ride today over my 500 EXC because I had 35 miles of pavement, then mostly dirt roads with no single track. Only crashed once, but unfortunately broke a stock hand guard. The 500 is very light, but I think it is easier to pick up my 790R than my DRZ. The 500 is awesome off-road, but sucks on the road for more than 30 minutes. The 500 is a play toy, the 790R is an awesome machine. However, where you were riding, the 500 would have been much easier.

I'm going to Denver for an anniversary 2026 and hoping to do the BDR - how can I expect the weather to be along the trail in late April-start May? I'm from Denmark so renting, leasing, lenting, buy-sell bike - whats the best approach?
@Motobrewski26 күн бұрын
@@krede99 so at that time of year (late April early May) most of the passes on the Colorado BDR will still be closed because of snow. Usually the season starts around mid to end of May. You’ll have to check the BDR website and search in general to see what passes are open or closed. All really depends on the weather and how much snow we get. It’s very frustrating to have to wait so long to get back in the trails but that’s Colorado for you ;)

All the Americans hating, it's a funny name regardless of being a gas station or not.
@ODDY1_3 ай бұрын
Literally has nothing to do with being a cafe. Its a gas station and just because it has a lil but of coffee doesnt mean its a cafe.
@Motobrewski3 ай бұрын
A **café at a gas station** offers a range of food and beverages, such as coffee, pastries, sandwiches, snacks, and sometimes hot meals. Unlike traditional sit-down restaurants, gas station cafés focus on convenience and quick service, catering to travelers, truckers, and locals looking for a quick meal or refreshment while refueling their vehicles. These cafés can vary widely in size and offerings, from simple counter-service setups with basic snacks and drinks to more elaborate spaces with seating areas and a wider menu selection. They often serve as a pit stop for road travelers, providing a place to rest, recharge, and enjoy a bite to eat before continuing on their journey.
@ODDY1_3 ай бұрын
@@Motobrewski Bro knows how to use ctrl c & v no way. Also every gas station pretty much offers the same stuff that you mentioned so should i assume that they all belong in the same category. The reason for this in the first place is because it caters to our interests and it seems trivial to worry about an extra small item.
