This is a wonderfully expressive pianist who gives the left hand melodies their due, and whose right hand produces beautiful "singing" tone. His musicianship is on display here. I can imagine he'd be a fine part in an ensemble. At 7:46 on, beautiful pointing of the march type rhythm. No doubt who was in charge here. Lovely, expressive horn solo follows. This was a very cohesive 1st movement. Lovely rubato from the pianist. A few "competition finger slips" are excused, as the overall impression is most impressive. 2nd movement, the singing tone by Mr Shin (or Mr Changyon..whicher is proper) is gorgeous. He is the master of the "hairpin" velocity..from mp to pp in one note. My only criticism overall, is that he needs to maintain accuracy when the emotion increases..happens to many. I always listen to the accompanying woodwind trio the last couple of pages...it's not easy to keep them in triplet and together...they were hidden by the rest of the orchestra till the very end...pity...But overall, much to commend here. 3rd movement. Nicely articulated opening couple of pages. The romantic nature of this most glorious music is there from the pianist. His conductor maybe could have established a bit more communication with this pianist...who tried to do so. Around the 30:20 mark, I sensed the pianist gathering confidence...just something I saw in his posture and hand placement. Speaking of, it might be helpful to keep his hands tighter to keys on his octaves. Shorten the distance!! Yessir! At 31:46 and onward...he's playing, not competing!!! 32:50...terrific! Even the orchestra came to life.He needs to keep his focus... I believe he has all the inward musical talent to be all he wants to be. Just practice diligently. The total technique will come..but the musicianshiup is something you CANNOT teach...IMO. His is heartfelt playing. Best of luck on his journey...which, according to date (6 years previous) has already begun. Thanks for posting this.

확실히 콩쿨에서는 소리를 다내야되는듯... 음악성을 보여주려고 소리를 약하게 내는부분이 감점의 요소가 됐을듯 3번째 노래처럼 1,2번째 노래 다 더 알맹이있게 소리냈으면 1등 하셨을듯 3번째 진짜 속이 다 시원할정도로 대포소리네요

도밍고 콩쿨이랑 다른점은 연주자에게서 찾을수 없다. 오케스트라가 많이 다름... 축축 쳐지고
