@clint1666 Thank you, brother! I have tried to get into the Hulk a few times over the years. I've read the Jeph Loeb run, Planet Hulk, World War Hulk (and a little bit of the latter chunk of Greg Pak's run) and maybe 1/3 of Immortal Hulk, and while I can appreciate and respect all of them, they just never pull me the same as some other characters do 🤷‍♂️😅

@OrangeGeemer I know what you mean about the lack of page numbers. That's definitely something that should always be included in omnis that aren't mapped out in reading order. As far as your question... Personally, I'm not super into event omnis for Marvel or DC, so I wound up skipping on the Flashpoint omni as I wasn't super interested in the tie-ins, except maybe the Batman one. The only reason I grabbed Blackest Night is because its my personal favourite comic book event, and it's within my favourite DC run, so I wanted to read all of it. I try to avoid double dipping when I can, unless there's something else included that I'm really wanting to check out 🙂

@runisa the shelves in this video are IKEA Billys, I believe, but I've since replaced two of them with IKEA Kallax's, because they're better suited for omnis and heavier books

Thanks man! I only tend to upgrade to absolutes if it's a story I thoroughly enjoy. I don't tend to do it for stories I haven't read unless I find them for a stupidly good price. Also it depends on the artist for me. I'd be more inclined to upgrade to an absolute if it had artwork I know I love and would like to enjoy in its most premium format, like a Jim Lee, a Gary Frank or a Jason Fabok for example

Appreciate you, mate! I found the New 52 Deathstroke enjoyable, but it doesn't contain much in the way of substance. It's more of an over the top, popcorn action film. So my recommendation of it would just depend on how much you like the character. Slade is one of my favourites so I found it a good bit of fun, but there's not much in the way of depth or deep, engaging storylines, but it makes for a fun, 'turn your brain off and just enjoy' type read

Sadly, I did! I needed the funds at the time and I'd fallen behind on the series quite a lot. I enjoyed what I read tho and would love the get my hands on the deluxe editions one day!

I haven't started it yet, but once the Secret Warriors omnibus reprint comes out, I'm gonna grab that and have myself a Hickman marathon starting with that, FF, Avengers and ending with his X-Men stuff! What do you think of his run so far?

Still need to pick up the two SHIELD minis for a complete Hickman read through but Secret Warriors is well worth including ahead of Fantastic Four.

As an Alien fan, I've been thoroughly enjoying what I've read so far, but I also haven't ever read any of the older, original Alien comics to compare it to. But I'd recommend checking it out, for sure! I haven't read Predator yet, so I can't comment on that, but I've heard good things.

@davidknox2301 Can't say I have... I've never really been a fan of either of those. I've seen the first season of Stranger Things and the first two modern Star Trek movies, that's the extent of my knowledge for either franchise 😬

You should stick with Stranger Things. Lots of different Star Trek comic runs to get into. I’d also recommend Planet of the Apes from Boom! Look forward to seeing some reviews from you. Did you sell your Power Rangers run?

@davidknox2301 I'll keep those recommendations in mind! I did end up selling Power Rangers, reluctantly. I just fell so behind on it and needed the funds so had to part ways with it. I enjoyed everything I read, but ultimately decided to sell them on. Maybe if the deluxe hardcovers come back into print, I'll go back to it, but for now, they had to Go Go over to eBay and morph into some cash.
