Thank you for a great video. I have trouble connecting my database like you did. Can it be because when it was created I set it connected with EC2? Because when i connect EC2 through SSH everything works fine but the connection to the db from my laptop without connecting EC2 is always time out

Thanks for this, it was really interesting ! Cloud IR is challenging and having the chance to hear recommendations from experts is always extremely valuable. Really enjoyed how precised were the questions , allowing us to put ourselves in the context easily. Andrew brought tons of clarity and sense. Really awesome episode.

Are you getting mixed up SOC (as in Threat Monitoring) and SOC (as in SOC2)?
@CloudSecurityPodcast9 күн бұрын
In this context it's the SOC (threat monitoring).

Would you recommend I start learning rust after getting the fundamentals of python? I read that the government recommends it due to its memory safety and speed. I would think that scripting with rust, would be beneficial because of its speed, safety and memory usage. I'm just wondering if that's a good idea or should I just stick to python. Thank you for your time and videos

It will be helpful if you created a video on AWS Cloud Security engineer salary based on the experience.
@CloudSecurityPodcast13 күн бұрын
That is a broad question to answer directly - the potential salary will depend on the person's existing experience in IT and experience in other cloud & where they are based out of. Was there a specific salary question you have that we can provide an answer for?

Yes as per their website - "five years of cumulative experience in IT. Three of those years must have been in information security, and one of them must have been in one of the six CCSP domains"
