Every morning while getting ready for school in rural WV, The Music Box Dancer by Frank Mills would play the same time on the radio. That's been over 40 yrs ago. This song will always remind me of spending the mornings with my Mom.

Hi FK. When i was about 14 I used to mess aorund with graphic design in my free time and while I was doing it I would always listen to you. Your music was playing nonstop pretty much. I had alreeady been playing the guitar myself for a few years at that time but I think you're the reason I have given up entirely on the electric and zoned in my focus on the acoustic and singing, because I wanted to do it like you. I'm 30 now and I still play to this day, every day and you're still my biggest inspiration. I'm sure i say this on behalf of many, thank you for your inspiration and music. Couldn't be more grateful for it. I would of course love to know about who you are as a fan but I respect your anonymity. Maybe could you tell us guitar enthusiasts about your collection a bit? Cheers, Peter from Hungary.

@@fretkillrlives, THANKS for your reply❣ For yrs. now I've been putting together a song / video tutorial list for guitar players in the family, currently starting with "(Monk II) Original Theme Song - Jeff Beal - 1st song - takatakamann" & ending with "Your Mother Should Know - Lennon-McCartney - peacejoytown - Fingerstyle COVER" for a total of 899 videos & still growing. Some songs like "Now That We're Alone - Rodney Crowell - STUDIO" only have one video & listing, that's all there is out there. Others, like Somebody That I Used to Know (Goyte) - Fingerstyle - Michael Chapdelaine - Guitar Pro TAB" have 10 or more listings, but most have 1 tutorial, with up to 4 or so tutorial versions. For a while now, "rediscovery / reaction" videos have been coming out on KZbin like Jackson Browne's "Running on Empty", & they act like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, & IT IS!!! How could a cultural GEM like that get lost or forgotten??? And so it goes. This is a list of "must know" songs, kind of like "Robert 'Mack' McCormick" work with the blues, & your interpretation of "My Back Pages" is just as culturally valid as "Bob Dylan's, The Byrds's, Roger McGuinn & Marty Stuart's, or Bob Dylan The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration" versions. I hope you don't mind me having copied your video, it's for cultural & teaching purposes ONLY. THANKS again for your reply, & for helping me out! Kind regards "Break-a-leg", & best wishes❣

I used to watch fretkillr videos on KZbin all the time and then the channel was blocked or removed. As time passed I couldn't remember the moniker anymore. A couple of weeks ago I was trying in vain to find the videos thru a repost, today fretkillrlives popped into my feed. Wrote the name down this just in case as well as subscribed to the channel. All is right in my guitar world now.

I've been a mediocre player for over 25 years, and found Fret's videos around 8 years ago. Over the next year I worked to emulate the style of fretkillr, and sadly haven't been in a position to play much over the last seven years. I picked my axe up today, found this video and though 'ooh i know this one let's see how close i am to the his version', and we both played it EXACTLY the same. Eb, last fill, everything. You have left a mark on me dude.
