Great shots & beautiful locomotive. Whilst the Flying Scotsman is a fine loco also, it could learn how to whistle properly! There is nothing like a living machine aka the steam engine.

Highly enjoyable video, Daniel, with some great shots and not too much mileage involved compared with chasing a train across the country. P S I trust it was "high bowlage risk" at Chelsea Bridge, and not "bowelage risk"!

Was on this tour, in the leading passenger coach as near to Clan line as you could be and the air con just robs so much of the experience. It'ss the 2nd run behind Clan line I've been in that seat and it's been the same experience each time - there's a big noisy thing on the front working hard and all you can hear is the whistle... It It isn't a surprise to see regular emails offering last minute discounts on the next rtc trip. Nice video,

If you had ran that formation 30 plus years ago on a club OO layout they would have shouted at you "No you can't have aircons and a 47 on the back!" But hey now you can! LOL

So have I got this right.....if you have two steam locos up front on the main line they aren't required to drag a brick at the back? Does that apply everywhere?

@@danielstrainsukofficial9133 Thanks, I was on Platform 1 next to the train and I thought it was pretty fast. Much more hammer on the track I thought too compared to the Azumas.
