Newton's third law simply states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. So, if object A acts a force upon object B, then object B will exert an opposite yet equal force upon object A.

Ken Houston and Willie Plett if only they had arrived earlier the Flyers would’ve ran scared, the Flyers only intimidated non fighters, just ask Shultz he got his jaw broken by Ken Houston.

Horrible, sophomoric commentary. Non sequiturs strung together to captivate an ignorant audience. Beats him like a rented mule is the single worst catch phrase in the history of sports.

Larry Robinson was shown on the intro of the old Don Cherrys Grapevine show only the toughest got on that intro the Clarks, Probert,Butcher, Robinson was like a Cam Neely he wasn't dirty didnt start it but could finish people right off with solid shots and real strong on his skates,Mark Messier was another one of those guys you didn't want to p!ss off and old bruins flyers and Canadiens every games vs eachother was a 60 min war with hundreds of penalty minutes handed out...70s and 80s was great hockey....and Canadian teams won cups really they did

Loved showdown when I was a kid. My friends and I would play this out many times, either outdoors or in our basements, we would pick what goalie and shooter we wanted to be. Great memories of fun times, wish we could go back to those simpler times.

They shoulda just let Garth Snow beat the shit outta McSorely. That was my first reaction. But after watching different interviews from Brashear and McSorely after the fact, it shed light on a Dark Side of the NHL not all fans are aware of. There was a lot of Racism and Turmoil towards Black and Foreign players back then. A lot of "Getting In Players" heads by coaching staff and owners. McSorely was given an order that was way out of line and he was paid (salary wise) to obey it. And sadly it was way over board. You can tell in McSorelys interview yrs later, he really didnt want to harm Brashear. He was truely sorry for obeying an order given to him in the moment. Same goes for the "Bertuzzi-Moore" incident a few yrs later. The game use to be run by savage orders on a nightly bases without any thought of repercussions.

While there's been an awful lot of great guitar players. Very few have the ability to make the instruments sound have "soul" if that makes sense. Gary, you were an exceptional talent. You ARE missed by millions of music lovers worldwide. RIP Gary Moore.

Salming was the best player on either team so Shero instructed the Flyers to beat him up. Unfortunately he was on the ice with teammates who weren’t fighters and the Flyers took advantage of that and Bridgeman pounded him. Fighting non fighters was a pretty cheap tactic employed by The Flyers and over a seven game series definitely took its toll.
