last 3 month my volume button not working ,the Technician did not repair properly, yet he didn't glue ! At home the edge keep opening, so I try fix ,and pry , suddenly the screen break ! 😱 Ending up in other repair shop costing RM180! 😫 New I bought is (RM 1500) ( Malaysia dollar ) Moral of the story= Beware who you send your phone for repair !!

Don't worry it basically fades away on its own, it does not get old as some other types of protectors.

@@-starlight-8282 you can't see it, you can maybe feel your screen not being so smooth, smudging more, etc. All I can tell you that it should last about 6 months, just do not wipe clean the screen with alcohool or other cleanin solutions, and you should be fine for 6months,

Good video, but was it not enough to remove the plastic shield on the motherboard and detach the flat of the LCD display? Eventually, around 100/120 °, the display comes off easily and there is no need to leave it intact, just tear it off.

I have a black screen of death on my S21+. Touch works and phone charges but no display. Phone is locked with a password. If I can mirror the phone to monitor then I can guess the touch and unlock it. Will this adapter work from the password protected lock screen? Regards

Yes it will, though I would advise a hub with usb on it to do a backup on your phone to a removable media. As long as you can plug in a keyboard and gain ascess

Though sounds like some major damage to your device, but as long as you can get thru lock/connect to PC and use Android MTP or debug bridge to do what you can until you figure out a new device, hopefully its covered under insurance.

What prevents the repair to be waterproof? Factory glue is different than B7000? Where water can enter from?

Not even factory waterproofing is permanent, and the manufacturers use gaskets, other types of glue and hydrophobic coating. So do not trust your phone to be waterproof after any type of repair.
