This looks like a lot of work. Why not just buy a length of scrap rail?

I'm watching anything and everything I can on aluminum welding so I can build an aluminum boat. I just noticed the aluminum boat in the background of your video. Did you build that?

Fun fact: Cookiecutter sharks chow down on huge chunks of big things like tuna mahi-mahi, swordfish, sharks rays, whales, and dolphins. And mostly took bites out of parts of submarines and underwater cables.

Great video :) just 2 questions, what grade of aluminium do you use? And how did you stop the Alu from reacting with the steel chassis (rust reaction). Thank you 😊😊

Any way I could ram one of those down into grass/ground? Don't wanna pour a concrete footer if not absolutely necessary. Not sure it'd stay put though. I have a sliding gate going g up in the backyard and need to lay the track
@giovannisocci4807
@giovannisocci4807 5 ай бұрын
You want concrete mainly bc of it s hard surface and thus add stability,if you think grass or dirt are firm and hard enough nothing stops you from it.

I got it from our local supplier. Yes, it is astronomically expensive, the argon is even more ridiculously priced at $1k for a tank. Aluminum flatbed is not cost effective. But looks cool haha. Thanks for watching!

Thanks, I don’t know nothing fancy just a hydraulic beast that savagely crushes the straight pipe into a bend with a steel shoe against two round pressure rollers that don’t roll. It’s quite a nightmare thats why I didn’t bust out the camera. I’ll do a bend video for you tho. Thanks for watching!
