I have that same exact noise on my trucks engine that I built up. I was thinking lifters at first even though its brand new lifters with only 2k miles on them but the thing is the noise goes away and the engine really smooths out if you rev it even just a little bit.

Is this latest bios version? Do you think i would get stable 360 fps if i got a 4070 super with the 285k. Because it's really tempting to get this cpu even with all the controversies. And i'm planning to buy a 360 hz oled aswell.

@Caskau 4070ti super yes. A lot of those 9800x3d videos are fake. They are using either looseless scaling or another 3rd party frame generation app to inflate the numbers. Yes I'm using they latest Bios. 4070 super would also do 280s to 360fps.

Yes. getting a 7900xtx today. It needs a more powerful Video Card. The ultra series CPUs are definitely a head of it's time. It's currently the ONLY DESKTOP CPUs that offer the robust NPU AI accelerator that will speed up AI Tasks in future Games and future updates. Much better than any GPU has to offer.

@@bigshobe Once You get the Bugs figured out it's just as good and even better in some games than my 7950X3D. You need to download the latest hwinfo beta to get accurate CPU speeds. Then I found that in my case the CPU was only running at 3.4-3.6 Ghz in games. I had to unlock and use the Ultimate Power Plan in windows 24H2 to get full 5.4 Speeds After that hurdle it works great.👍

All the CPU settings worked great for me. Didn't do the memory settings as I have completely different RAM. Is there settings you think I should try for the memory? I'm not running XMP, just have it running at default memory speed. 128GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5-5200 CL40 (4 sticks)

My L76 G8 sounded worse. It lasted 126k miles and the culprit was the dod lifters. Always used synthetic and changed every 3000 miles and the dang thing still failed. I ended up putting in a crate motor

There is NO input latency at the driver level. Unless of course you have a mouse with a terrible polling rate.

Flattened cam lobe, hits hard against lobe. Flex plate or rod will be twice the sound frequency.

@bradr539 Definitely. Usually the AFM lifter collapses and that added clearance causes a Rapping knock. I believe in my case the roller on the lifter isn't rolling freely.

im dealing with this bad. same exact monitor, g7 curved 27” with the remote. & ill be on pc 2 on connected devices. & it will switch me over to PC 1 , basically input 1 out of nowhere. in the middle of gaming. I switch it back and it will go back after 30 seconds or so. and also the brightness on the screen goes down and the fps goes down to 120 instead of 240 & wont go back up even if i change it in settings. it says its already all the way up. i messed around & switched the input on the cable. & now its meant to be on PC 1 but i get really bad black screen flickers that last up to 10 seconds long sometimes. sometimes it will flicker for hours every 5 seconds, non stop. have no clue how to fix it. anyone have any idea?

Sorry Man. If you're viewing on a cell phone you can't zoom? Those overlays enlarged screws up the FOV and impedes performance and you wouldn't get a REAL WORLD FPS.

In the Very Beginning of game development, the game was to support DX12 Ultimate , only a few do. Farcry6, The Riftbreaker, official support was scrapped in favor of DLSS and Raytracing (Nvidia had something to do with the decision) however the setting can be set in the user configuration folder.

@andrerodrigues9933 In Windows search Box type Windows Features and check Legacy Components Box reboot. That doesn't work go into bios run your memory at stock speeds try again. In my experience DX12 issues are unstable system or vram Memory.
