yeah GFN is the way to go for sure! I played most of it on my computer but i did enjoy some time no the steam deck when i was out of town and on an airplane playing this game.

for real! i'm with you this whole movement that games have to run over 60fps just to be playable is a bit ridiculous for noncompetitive gaming.

i think the graphics will be very similar but the character animation probably won't be anything like this hahah but yeah it's going to be wild what games look like the next 5 years!

yeah the Ally does get a very noticeable boost in performance at the cost of windows hahah. Honestly I think i might pick up the Ally X that's getting announced in a few days.

@@nophacetech4596 yeah tempting but I spend most my time connected to a socket and when i do go out I have 2 power banks and my ROG ally already has 2 terabytes. So I am not sure how much a ROG ally X will benefit me. same chipset more ram won't make a huge difference to performance. But if it comes out and it is somehow crazily more stable and smooth compared to OG rog then I may. But really I already made mine into a rog ally x with the 2 terabytes and the battery packs. I don't mind a USB C cable running to my battery packs lol But we shall see. I would like a black one but is it worth another £700 to me. lol I just spent £600 odd on a quest 3 512 gb.

@@nophacetech4596 I can't wait to see it though But tbh I really wanna upgrade my 6800 in my gaming rig when a new GPU comes out in the AMD range.I think money would be better spent doing that now I have a 2 terabyte ROG ally and a 2 terabyte Steamdeck already. I have 64 gb one as well I could whack the ROGs old 512 gb SSD in and sell. Too lazy lol 🙂

Basically, there is a youtube channel called GamingDJ [26K subs with red D and J letters as profile pic], follow his steps on how to mod the game. When downloading the file get the universal edition. Inside the rar there are different folders. Dll_version, Dll_winhtp etc. Past from one folder and then try to run the game.If you don't see framegen then paste from another folder and do it again. I got it to run on my GTX 1650 laptop.

cryoutilities seems to give such a small amount of benefit compared to the amount of messing around that i just don't bother.

No it never got to 40fps consistently and nintendo shut down YUZU so all the forward development stopped unfortunately.

I'm sure as soon as I pick it up, the Deck OLED Ocular Implants will come out, and all the cool kids will be neural linked straight into the Steam OS... while I'll be playing handheld games like a dusty old pilgrim! Speaking of, I played Hellblade on my Switch and was bummed I wasn't going to get to play the sequel on my PS5, so I'm pumped to get this game and relieved it runs as well as it does! Bodes well for Witcher 4 running at 90fps in 2028!

Thanks for watching and writing all of this! The Steam Deck OLED screen is amazing! I’m really interested to see the new ROG Ally X, or whatever they end up calling it. It should have a much better battery. It might be the first handheld device that tempts me to switch. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind getting 10+ FPS on all the new epic AAA games coming out this year and next. At least, it could hold me over until the Steam Deck 2 comes out.

@@nophacetech4596 According the leaks the Rog Ally X comes with an 80 Wh battery so yeah that's a big increase in batterytime. If you're new to Asus it certainly is a device to consider. Only downside in a sense is the display. It will be a smaller FHD screen. No oled and because it's smaller it's hard to read text. It's by no means bad. When I first used it, I liked it instantly. The colors were popping but it's no oled.... Because I have the current model I don't feel the need (yet) to upgrade. There's no substantial reason why because the performance will be roughly the same and I need to draw the line somewhere. In a span of 2 years I've bought 2 Nintendo switches. 1 regular Steam Deck, an Asus Rog Ally, a Legion Go and a Steam Deck Oled. This is getting ridiculous. 🫣 And it's going to be much worse. Rumours of Microsoft and Sony entering the handheld scene, AMD will introduce the second half of this year the next generation of mobile apu's.... It's just awful for my wallet but kind of exciting too 😁 Glorious time to be alive!🤩

Ally X will be the game changer for us all. The current ally is hampered by it's battery life and the deck is really ageing badly even though it's still young. Ally X is the best of both worlds, can't wait!

@@nophacetech4596 The new Ally X will use the same 7 inch screen. No oled :(. I think when the Asus Rog Ally 2 releases someday, it will use oled. I have a question for you, if you don't mind. I've seen you also have the Steam Deck LCD. Did you notice it too that the sound coming from the oled (loudspeakers) are very quiet compared to the oled model? I have to set above 20 to hear something. Very annoying. :/

@@nophacetech4596 its a complrtely different thing, my friend. in movies i don't control anything happening on the screen, and it feels smoother because of that. and i strongly believe that there are some pretty certain reasons for upgrading monitors as well as other pc components for us to have a smoother framerate, also all those professional players getting the max hz monitors, there must be a reason for that, dont you think so?
